Love heart

For my second project for this month's Heart theme I have made a page in my Dylusions Dyary. The heart is a Wendy Vecchi stencil (with PaperArtsy paints on black card) so I added some of my favourite leaf and flower stamps from Wendy too. I added a Dylusions stencils in the background and some washi tape. I loved making this page - and I hope you have been inspired to join in too - there's still time to enter and you may win a prize!

Wildflower heart garden

Hi Brenda here sharing my second project for our HEARTS challenge this month using an mdf heart that had been painted up eons ago but served my purpose perfectly to add Tim's wildflowers and some DecoArt media acrylics to create a dark corner of a summer garden.

I would love to see you at Bumblebees and Butterflies where there are more photos and details of the process steps.

I hope you are enjoying the challenge and have hopefully entered a project already.

Enjoy walking in a garden somewhere whether that be your own or one you are visiting.

hugs Brenda xxx

May winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is...

#157 Irena's art

Congratulations, Irena!  Your winner's badge and voucher will be on their way to you shortly, and we hope you'll join us a Guest Designer here at Country View Challenges in the future.
___________________________

Again we had a very popular challenge month! In May we received 164 entries to the Flower Power challenge! Thank you again for your participation!

The easy part was to see your fabulous creations but the the hard part was to choose the Top 3 and only one Special Mention project!

My choices for the Top 3 are the following (my order is by entry numbers).

This card was among the first entries on the very first day and I knew that time that Lesley's card could be one of the Top 3. I love the colours that she chose! She created the background with lovely soft colours and she used one of my favourite techniques: dabbing the ink with a simple kitchen/bath sponge on the surface :-) And although the flowers beautifully pop out they are not bold or harsh at all. And I must mention too, that this stamp sat from the PaperArtsy is my beloved too.

Again a card! Lou used Tonic Studios stamps with matching dies - and they really matched perfectly :-) Very nice design with not much but enough colours! I love it!

And again a beautiful card! Maria chose a plain white watercolour paper as a background which was perfectly embossed creating a perfect frame for her bouquet. The flowers were fabulously coloured with watercolour technique.

---------------------------------------------

And now I would like to prove you that I'm not just a card fan! As a DTSM I chose an upcycled mixed media project, an altered salt box by

This pencil holder is just stunning! Ramya used many beautiful handmade flowers what I really appreciate at this challenge!  The feathers were hand cut by Ramya which is amazing! I love the metallic colours over the reddish-pinkish colours!
This pencil holder looks like a precious jewellery box!

Congrats to the winners and don't forget to join our June challenge: HEARTS!

Big hugs,
Monika

Hello it's Jane here this morning with some more inspiration for our hearts theme challenge. I made a very CAS (Clean And Simple) card on a hot sunny day last Thursday in my garden studio using the D'Oxide "ice cream" off cuts from my first "hearts" card I shared here last week.

If you would like to see how I put this together there is a very warm welcome awaiting you over on my blog  here. I hope you will join us this month....and share a little love (not forgetting the chance to win a £20 voucher to spend in the shop 😍)

June 2017 - Hearts

Welcome everyone to our June Challenge.
Our theme this month is "Hearts", chosen by the lovely Hazel

Hazel

Hazel here, very happy to be launching the new challenge entitled Hearts! Here is my recycled bag photographed amongst the Wisteria! Happy June everyone. Please visit my blog for more details

I loved the theme this month - there are so many ways to use hearts and I know your creativity will soar with this month's challenge! For my submission I decorated an MDF plaque and embossed a heart shaped Art Part. The gold highlights make the project 'pop'! Gabrielle x

I made a gruny/Vintagey tag for my first Hearty make. After Valentine's Day garish reds, I fancied muted colours and spent a long time establishing the background for my hearts. Come and see how I did it on my blog.

Wow June already, time for  sunshine and Summer weddings. That means Anniversary cards the following years, which is what I've made for our first hearts challenge.
Being born without a romantic bone in my body it was Paper Artsy stamps and Dylusion papers to the rescue. There are more pictures of my struggle here at Sue The Iron xx

Hello everybody, it's my first project for our June challenge: Hearts.
I wanted to make a card using the techniques I have learned from Tim Holtz during the "12 tags of..." challenges. I hope you like it! More details on my blog. Thanks for visiting!

My daughter recently got engaged and we don't know when she and her partner will get married but when I came across this lovely vintage photo I created a journal page to celebrate the occasion. The details of how this came together can be found over on Bumblebees and Butterflies if you care to pop over.

Happy June everyone, summer really is just around the corner now. For the lovely Hearts theme this month I chose to make 2 very summery cards. This is the first one; I used distress oxides and carried the theme right through to adding a heart brad. I thought the colours reminded me of  ice cream! If you would like to see how I made this I have a step by step over on my blog here where a warm (and heartfelt 😊) welcome awaits. Let's hope it's a really flaming June.

Bye for now,

Hello there! Well our theme this month is hearts and I had lots of fun making this card. If you would like the details please hop over to my blog. Hugs rachel x

Fabulous topic again this month....and perfect for lots of wedding anniversaries that are coming up over the summer months.  Pop over to my blog to see how I made this card.

Hello everyone, what a fabulous theme for this month;  hearts, a favourite any time of year!
I choose do a journal page with lots of Stencilling, and as I'm still addicted
to those Oxides, I couldn't resist adding a little here and there.
As always the details are over on my blog.
Hugs
