~Sharing A Few More Of My Christmas Decorating Pictures With You~

Good Morning,
I was beginning to wonder if the sun was going to shine here today.. but, it is, kinda, sorta! I love looking out my windows and seeing sunshine! I remember doing the same thing when I lived back in Pa. during this time of the year.(Really anytime of the year!) Even though we had snow on the ground, just having the sun shining made the snow sparkle and look all the more beautiful than what it already was!  I hope the sun is shining big time where you are now too!

I got a bit more Christmas decorating done yesterday, and thought that I'd share some pictures with you.

I am sooo excited! I finally got our Christmas Tree put up and decorated! Unbelievable! It seems to have taken me forever, and this is our Skinny 6' Christmas Tree! My hubby was starting to put together our BIG tree, and we just don't have enough room to have it look nice, so, we took it apart and put our Skinny tree up, which I think fits the space a whole bunch better... I really like it sitting there in front of our picture window.. It's been a couple two or three Christmas's since we've had it there..

I haven't decided if I'm going shopping today, or if I'm going to work on putting some of my Christmasy knick-knacks out and about.. Hmmm.... Guess, we'll see!!

I've noticed alot of people are having that coughing and sneezing, headachy bug that is going around. I have such a dry cough, and it really takes off especially at night, when I'm in bed.. I pray that we all get to feeling like ourselves here before too long! Don't want anyone to not be feeling good over the Holiday's, that's for sure!

Hope you are having a good week so far... Mine has gone good... s-l-o-w...but good!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Blessings,
~Lynn

~A HEART TOUCHING VIDEO~

~Two Of The Many Soldiers Who Are Away From Their Family and Love Ones At Christmas~

Good Morning All,
I'm just sitting here with my morning cup of Christmas Blend coffee that I bought the buy one bag of Christmas Blend coffee, and get another bag free from Starbucks the other day, and just came across a very heart touching video about our military troops who are so far away from home during the holidays.. I thought that I'd share..  My son Daniel has shared with his Dad and I on how it was for him over in Iraq while he was there.. I just couldn't even begin to imagine how it'd be... I lived in Germany for 15 months, without many friends and no other family, except for my daughter Michele who was 3 at the time and my ex who was stationed in the Army. No where did I have any of the conditions and surroundings that our military troops face each and every day, and it was still quite hard for me.. I got down..and real depressed, especially on holidays, Holiday's which was normally shared with our family and love ones.. My heart and prayers goes out to all of our military soldiers! Thank you all so very much for all that you've already done and still are doing for my freedom and my country! I wish you all a very blessed Christmas...and for God to keep each and every one of you safe and bring you all safely back home real soon, back home to your family and love ones.

Have a wonderful day! I'm going to continue on with doing my Christmas decorating today... I'll share pictures once I have it all done, I promise~

~Gettin' There!~ Slowly But Surely!~

Good Morning!
How was your weekend? Was it busy with doing your Christmas shopping, or... like me, doing my house hold cleaning? I got our laundry all done, and my livingroom vacuumed, dusted and rearranged so that I can put our tree up in front of our livingroom window like I had hoped to do this year.. since it's been years since we've had it there. I had to move the furniture around all by myself,(thank goodness it isn't real heavy!) as my hubby was out of town and our son Daniel had his military weekend this past weekend, soooo.... I just moved a little at a time, and it worked out good! I didn't over do at all! That's saying a bunch for me! I usually overdo big time! I've learned how to pace myself anymore!! Not worth the aches and pains for me to overdo, that's for sure! I just had to face the facts, that I'm not that energized Super Mom that I used to be just a few years ago! Ha!

I still have a few more presents to buy, but that's okay.. It won't take me long...I don't have my Christmas tree up yet, but hope to do so here before too long! I have 3 trees and haven't really decided as to what one I want to put up...  I'll probably put up our 6' slim tree...
I have a few pictures I'd like to share....

~I really like this one with the two snowmen and Christmas tree~

~Our front door with wreath and icicle lights along porch roof...~ (My Hubby put the lights up a week or two ago...)

This is some Christmas decorating that one of my neighbor's has done on his home and yard... It looks sooo very pretty!

Sorry about the pictures... I'm still learning how to take and share pictures on my blog... I still have alot more to learn about how to, that's for sure! But, just wanted to give you an idea of what I've got done so far... See, it really does take me like forever!! I'm hoping to get some more Christmas decorating done today.. and maybe even wrapping some presents today too!

You all have a wonderful day! Thank you for stopping by!

Blessings,
~Lynn
