E_TOWN HI_JINKS -- but all about GOD !!!!

These make me laugh so and the children never forget the story about acting rotten to someone -- Fruits of the spirit
The western BB school was my fav -- and most of my children were in it -- some were just engaged this year .

There are many other pics -- these are some of my faves -- Our children's ministry is called - E _TOWN __ where God can make an ETERNAL - difference .

Someday I will tell ya about the sheep , Harley riders and Little BO peep -- all too too funny but with a Biblical lessons those kids who are now out of HS --still remember fondly .
I am always mentioning my grown children and their working in childrens ministry at church -- It is a great , spiritual, fun and amazing place for children to learn God's word and the meaning behind the BIBLe stories -- Each month they have a virtue they teach for the whole month ----This month it is friendship -- how Gods people loved each other -- that a friend loves at all times -- that Jesus loves us so much
and wants to be our forever friend --
Along the way , comes fun and innovative ways of telling the precept of the bible story_in a skit etc ) and then a "Storyteller who tells the actual Bible story .

they are so funny and cute -- thought you might get a kick out of them -- My whole family - HUB included (mastermind of stage sets )has either worked in them or behind the scene building props or sets --

Happy Anniversay to my sweet children

Happy Anniversary !!!!!!-- My sweet children(oldest son -was just the B day boy on the first -- has been a busy month ) have been married for five years , just celebrated on the 23 !!!! HUbs and I love them both so much --- He has his Dads eyes -- and she is so pretty -- i always say about my girls -- they are all physically beautiful -but ..... their HEARTS ♥♥♥ are more beautiful than that --
so Blessed --

I am so loving this second picture -- they had been on a visit to Oregon two weeks ago to see her sis and HUb -- oh the gorgeous pictures, it was their first visit since her sisters wedding in Fla -- her hub is from there -- unbelievably beautiful places -- and Loving the cute cowboy hat !

Touring my picture files -- and other random wanderings

Today is a beautiful day here in the south -- maybe storms tomorrow -- so I am off in a few to do some mindless wanderings and rambling to some fave places --
ya know - like antique stores and Junk stores a favorite for Vintage delights ,
It has been a full week -- , so have not addressed the camera issue -- and wanted to connect -- so I wandered into my picture files on my computer -- Can't even remember if these were ever posted --

but since they give me lots of delight (I♥ATC 's ) especially vintage pics of children -- these were some i created for a scrapbook show swap ---now wish I had some of these myself -- lol well, that is a project for another day .

THe cowgirl ATC was a challenge for the Scrap show -- I didn't win , but this wording always makes me laugh -- and I have it on a large tin container , because it amuses me -- I guess I am easily amused

Bird and Nest Matchbox Swap - speckled - egg

HOw fun it was to make these little matchboxes and fill with goodies for creating -- bird and nest art .

This is what I made for my three partners -- am working on my camera problem and will post pics of those they sent, and they are "AMAZING "" -- I believe it is one of my most fav swaps --
maybe because I love birds and i love the thought that in the Bible - it says his eye is on the sparrow -- so he watches over me also --
and the beauty of God s creation always makes my heart smile .

I love the matchboxes and it is similar to making atc's --

a busy day -today and ws all weekend -- BOY did I love the Archiver's TIM Holtz prommotion-this weekend - Had to go Friday to get all the latest stuffsells out quickly - That is another post -- awesome new goodies to create with -- including the new birdcage and bird diecut --and check out the awesome full page of Tattered Angel stamps --

Georgia Bloggers !!

What a wonderful group of ladies -- I had a delay in getting this posted due to
family in the hospital --none the less --It was a fantastic time . It seemed we were all such -Kindred spirits --Many of us create in different mediums , but there was such a bonding of caring and understanding as women and what our art and our
faith mean to us --
The food was wonderful and so much time and effort was put into making it lovely
and fun - and we felt totally spoiled .It felt as if we were in a secret garden --and the day was warm . A beautiful spring day in the South under the little trellised portico .
Many sweet doorprizes and a wonderful gift exchange of beautiful handmade
art was shared -
Then the shopping began and several places we went into -- asked who we were --as we all had hanmdmade Name tags that told about our blog name -
They were all so cute and original - such talented gals , need to post those too

Will post more pics as I get them . I am so behind with posts of my sweet Nest matchbox swap and many other things I wanted to share .

- A SURPRISE _A BIRTHDAY & SNEAK PEEK

WOW !!!what a week last week and this one also --, IT"S A BOY !!!!! WHEEEE !! -we are so excited , just found out -- how can we wait til August ***THEN -- "" Birthday """ fun with my oldest sweet son, just back from a mission trip to Mexico,. This is such a cute pic of him and my GDTR and a pic of his Yummy Cheese cake -- made by my gourmet cook - Sweet dtr in law -- (oh sorry no pic )< then --swaps to finish - a sneak peek of my birdy swap and also on the worktable -- the creations for 45 boxes at church for Easter Sunday --
So that is what I have been up to around the house and studio .

Now Saturday I get to meet with my GA bloggers -- can hardly wait -- I need to
make a gifty exchange and a name tag -- so need to do that also
