Last week in Houston (08.28.11-09.04.11)

Our last week in Houston....long overdue on this post, but here it goes! I had planned on getting this done before the New Year started, but oh well, it is what it is! Our last week pretty much entails lots of packing dish barrel boxes, getting all the VN and Tex-Mex food I can get, getting my driver license renewed, haircuts for the kiddos, and family and friends time in!

I think Dan and I even got to watch a movie that week, "Colombian" and enjoyed our last happy hour with good POM friends Marie, Tom and Lynne. I also had a chance to get one last spa pedi in with Jill and enjoyed a girls night out with her.

Another nice trip back to Houston to see family and friends. Thanks

everyone for taking the time to see us!

Sunday, 9/4- day we headed back to Saudi. My mom and Matthew came in the morning to watch the kids eat breakfast and helped get us ready for the airport.

Sat, 9/3- Last dinner with family at Napoli's:

We went back to the same place from our last visit to Houston. I wished we have room in our Saudi home for one of these!

We heard from one of my friend, Alyssa about a church where they have a fantastic play room. You don't have to be a church member or anything to take kids there. They really like this place and was more adventureous than usual. They all actually climbed to the top of one stairs and went off on their own more. We were supposed to meet Lynne and her kiddos at the movies, but they woke up with a cold and she didn't want to give us germs before heading back home to Saudi.

Best part about this place was it's FREE, love free places for kids.

Afterwards, Chik Fil A for lunch...what a great day!
