Lexi's sniffer
We've always attributed Lexi's extremely picky eating habits to an over active sniffer. We now have more evidence that she has an uncanny ability to smell. She comes into my room every morning for her baby fix. She has to smell him. She can't stop talking about how good baby Canon smells.
Averi Thoughts
Last week Averi told me that she can't wait to be a mom because then she won't have to do any more laundry. Her kids will do it. She has no idea.

Happy 3rd Birthday Maddog!
We had a great time celebrating the 3rd birthday of our precious little boy Matix.
He is a serious child who can stair down any adult, but yet has a super silly goofball side as well. Sometimes the things he says just amaze me. He is very smart.
We had cake and ice cream with all the Brinkerhoff cousins at grandma's house. We even made him a Thomas the Train birthday cake. What a stud!
Harold!
Great Grandma Brinkerhoff was there as well. She is 91 years old. Ancient of days as she says. Here she is holding our sweet new baby boy Canon Ball.
Looks like we have 10 of the 21 Joe Brinkerhoff Great Grandkids with the itty bitty matriarch of our family.

Daddy Time
I'm pretty sure Cory has a picture with every one of our 5 babies in exactly this same pose. He is so tender with the little ones. Their couldn't be a more proud father.

Ethan's First Pack Meeting - Bobcat
Along with being baptized at age 8, Ethan also became a cubscout. This is a new adventure for our entire family. His very first pack meeting was the Blue and Gold Banquet where he received his bobcat award.
alongSome of the fun of cubscouts involves silly cheers and rituals. Face painting occurs with each advancement. Today Ethan literally became a Bobcat thanks to his daddy.
Ethan's #1 fans were along to cheer him on. Lexi and Averi sure love their big brother. They are all best friends.

Canon Ball!
When Grandpa Brinkerhoff visited Cannon in the hospital, he called him "Canon Ball". Cory and I thought that was pretty funny so we told the kids. Apparently they liked it as well because Matix has been running around the house all day today yelling, "CANON BALL!" With how rough and tough Matix is, I do fear a bit for Canon's life.

Canon's 1st Days of Life 1-3 days old
Canon Donald Williams could not be any more loved! He completes our family in every way. And judging by the kids expressions it looks like he has been fully accepted into the group.

Great Grandpa Donald Nicoll holding Canon for the first time. Precious moments like these need lots of pictures.
Canon is not really crossed eyed, I promise.
He couldn't be more perfect!

Getting ready to leave the hospital for the first time.

Welcome home Canon!

Best buddies in the making. I'm sure there are lots of wrestling matches that lay ahead for these two!

Averi could not be more pleased. Since we didn't find out Canon's gender the girls were hoping for another sister. But judging by this ear to ear grin, it looks like a brother is perfectly acceptable.
