Gunner and Makenna both finished great soccer seasons. They were both so excited to get their awards. Gunner had a very cute Thanksgiving play at school.

October 2010

We spent the first week of October on fall break. We went to our timeshare in Lake Havasu and has a blast on the boat, skiing and tubing, having BBQ's and swimming in the pool. We had fun carving pumpkins and dressing up for Halloween.

September 2010

Makenna turned 7 on September 18th. She had a soccer game that day as well. She got a lot of presents and had a party with her cousin at her grandma and grandpa's house.

Santa Cruz Boardwalk

At the end of August we took a trip to Northern California to visit our cousins. We stayed in a house by the beach and had a great time. We used to go to the Boardwalk when we would stay with my grandparents when we were little and now we take my kids when we go up there. They have so many rides that are great for the kids, great weather and great company! We also had fun at the beach, though it was a little cold for my tastes, it was still fun playing in the sand. We had fun seeing cousins that we don't get to see very often.

Makenna's 1st day of 2nd Grade

August 12th, 2010. She is in Mrs. Yamauchi's class at Pinetree.

Our kids are stinkin' awesome!

At the end of July we met Cory's aunt and uncle at Lake Mead. Makenna loved having a bunch a little cousins that were all her age. A couple days into the trip we went to Bass Pro Shop, and having a little bit of extra money and a vast amount of things to buy = a cart full of fun toys for the lake! Cory thought it would be fun to buy the kids some waterskis. The were so excited to give them a try and, thanks to Cory's uncle and cousins, they picked it up so fast! Gunner was actually the first of the kids to stand up...he looked funny because he was so little, it was adorable! We are going to have to take a few more trips this summer to keep them practicing!
