Thanksgiving 2012

Another great Thanksgiving Weekend is in the books!   We have so much to be thankful for this year-good health, family, friends, a job, a warm house, the gospel, and all the little things that bring us joy each day.  My Dad came for the week, and my Mom and Grandma joined us for dinner on Thursday.  Cory and Mak ran a 5K for the Utah Food Bank Thursday morning, we took the kids to see "Rise of the Guardians" on Friday-a must see, and we went shooting with Cory's brother and kids on Saturday.

(And apparently, I have run out of room for pictures, so there will not be any pictures for this post.  I will try to figure out what is going on and get some pictures up ASAP.  Until then, you will have to use your imagination!)

1 Year

Actually, it's more like a year and a couple of weeks, but Tim is still in REMISSION!  He had his "1 year" scans/tests last Friday and all looks good!  What a huge relief!!  Also on Friday, Tim got his 4th leg!  He is super happy with it because the fit is so good!  The entire weekend, Tim kept saying how nice his leg is:)  And the pattern, oh boy!  Can you say "groovy?"  I had nothing to do with it, except that I was the one to find the material in the huge bin!  In the end, Tim gets to pick out which pattern he wants:)

MM Club!

Tim is an official member of the "Metal Mouth" club!  Looks like he will have braces for about 18 months and he will get braces on his bottom teeth in Januray.

Not Again?

I ended up in the ER again last night.  And, the same Dr saw me!!  Cory asked Tim to get a generator out of the shed so he could get it running again.  I went outside to help because the generator is a beast.  As I was pulling it into the garage, a metal piece on the underside came down and cut the back of my heel.  I went down right away in pain!  Tim was super good.  He checked out my heel right away and went inside to get Cory.  Both of them could see something white!!  So, off Cory and I went to the ER.  I was surprised that I only needed 7 stitches when my toe got 5 stitches just a month ago:(  Now I am in a walking boot for a couple of days.  Actually, it's easier to use crutches.

About an inch and a half cut

Yummy!!

Not the best picture, but the white in the middle of the cut is my Achilles Tendon

The tendon was not cut!

7 stitches!

Kelli on top of my attacker-um, generator!
KWhile at the ER, I texted Tim to thank him for taking such good care of me.  He was really calm, and very helpful.  He texted me back the followin: "Ur welcome it would have been rude not to"
