DECEMBER
haha sorry for the lack of updates! the last week was so busy with these random surprise tests for all the subjects. so annoying. i must say though i think it turn out pretty okay...
anyway last friday was jennifer's bday party! WOOO. at TGI Fridays. Happy Birthday Jennifer! after that was suppose to go to dream hollywood. but i felt sooo sick. no idea why though anyway i thought the food was awesome! despite the dramaness after that..
haha Birthday girl!! with evetor's (me faking) gift. HAHAHA

Me and Birthday Girl! yay. got loads more pictures but too lazy to upload. HAHA
So anyway today during english, i felt very motivated by 房子先生。 It reminded my of the time in Singapore when like a good teacher takes charge, has a clear plan and knows what he wants our class to achieve. He gives constructive feedback and told us what was needed to get good grades. HAHA havent had a teacher like that in two years. I truely miss the days of TMS where we would strive through "competition" or just enjoy XYZ teacher's lesson (of course 阿牛 as well). Then you know what grades u wanted to achieve how to stretch yourself, the extra lessons, classes and the sacrifises teachers made. Today when 房子先生 said the same things as well i was really impressed, my heart beat so fast and i felt a real determination (one not felt for a long time) to really try my best for english. Leaving school we had this conversation:
房子先生: your essays one of those that has great potential. If you continue this trend im sure you'll get a six of a seven
Me: ohh cool so what do u tink i should improve on
房子先生: i tink you should just read more.
Me: Read more?? ?? -.-
Haha. in the midst of this cold and dark winter, where the sun sets at 5 p.m and the days are shorter, you really start to miss home. the friendships that cross boundaries, do they really last? haha its always during this period when i feel home sick, start thinking about people i care. And i see those (e.g. vic) who has already return and wish i could be there too. I tink about the majong sessions that could be played, the gatherings with family, the outings with all the friends back home. haha unfortunately this christmas, i won't be returning back. Instead im going to America, which at first seem like such a promising idea, is now bitter sweet.
Oh well. Make the best of it shop shop shoppp!! :D

im sorry for my silence towards you the last week or so, but i hope u understand why. its just that u've change.

Hmmmm...
When people get annoying and you feel like slapping them just take a deep breathe and calm down.... hehe
anyway singapore trip was REALLY amazing i miss shaikha SO MUCH!! HAHA love our orchard adventure. P.S Operation CS still hasnt been removed! (fuck.)
besides the annoying nuisances of "children" who shall remain nameless, i was fortunate not to get my entire trip ruined by Y who hmm? finished exams and had nth to do that day but.. oh well. forget it! hahahaha.
Although this trip was not as enjoyable as previous ones, "home is where the heart lies." I will never be like some ungrateful ingrates who vehemently criticise their birth place not taking into consideration the abundant opportunities that this small island has provided for them.
Although I may love to study overseas etc stay in foreign countries, I have always said i value my "little red book" very much thank you. We like to criticize the government for this and that, our education system is too stressful (have u seen the korean one?), this is not good that is not good. Yet, we fail to realise the HUGE amount of benefits we as a country enjoy. These include cheap afforadable public housing, cheap UNIVERSAL health care, heavily subsidised education and low crime rates etc.
its time to put the CITIZEN back into COUNTRY and learn to show some forms of appreciativeness.
Thats all.

So after 22 months the campaign is finally over! phew. all of a sudden there's like nothing to check online anymore.. no more polls no state by state analysis no sarah palin. SIGHHH! hahaha
lets recap the journey.
it all started 22 months ago when i saw obama's speech after the Iowa caucus.
"they said this day would never come. They said our sights were set too high. They said this country was too divided too disillusion to ever come around a common purpose. But on this January night, in this defining moment, you have done what the cynics said we couldnt do"
haha i remembered as i watched that speech and i said "this man will win the nomination" and my dad said NO. HAHA how wrong they all were!! I'm so glad he won! what a long a tiring journey it has been but soooo fruitful!
and when he eventually defeated clinton (not that she was bad or anything) it was like WOW he could actually be the president! of course i had my doubts during the campaign, when things got harder during the end but as long as he kept fighting i knew the nomination would be HIS!
Although hillary was defeated, she has been one of the best advocates during the presidential campaign, crossing the country for him and speaking on his behalf and even Bill clinton too! i was pretty impressed by the Unity of the democratic party
and when the presidential election came, john mccain sold himself to be the republican nominee, pandering to the tastes of the right wingers. what a waste! the election would have been soooo much closer!
so as we move forward there's sooo much expectations for him to live up to and there will definately be disappointments and setbacks as well but his success gives everyone the audacity TO hope"
p.s APEC Summit is in SG next year!! HOPE HE COMES!!

Fire Drill!
hey BABES! :)
haha last wenesday we had a firedrill in school! it was really lame, similar to those very drama one we had in temasek last time with people getting rescued and fire engine and all that jazz. HAHAHA BUT this time it was a chinese version! the people getting rescued WALKED out of the building with their bags smiling and waving to everyone! HAHAHA AND AND AND the firetruck actually brought a ladder to climb the truck and fake smoke bombs were use HAHAHA so exciting.. while we were bored we took some lame pictures.. it was a great break from math!! and we were like making fun of anything that we saw! HAHAHA SO FUN. the SL math people were being boring and like not participating in the fun. ZZZZZ. so anyway first pic: school on "fire"

phillips feeling bored and wondering why he's standing around doing NOTHING.
then we walked over to withness the graders learn how to use the fire extinguisher. HAHAHA OMG it was so funny like this guard kept lighting the oil shit with like a lighter and it went VROOM. omg he like could have gotten burned! tht would have been interesting!!
COMPARE THE ASS SIZES. HAHAHAHHAHAA
some china fire department people teaching students how to use extinguisher. AHHA omg there was this girl who missed the POT by like half a meter so funny! but the fire still went out! pretty amazing. haha
p.s: apparently CCTV/jiangsu TV people were there filming. OMGGGG DAMN CARTOON CANT STAND IT!

Pascal's 18th!
Hi Loves!
lol i know my previous post was kinda mean and uncalled for. HAHA at least its hilarious. after a week of high drama and getting pissed and angry, its time for a party! haha i eventually decided to go for pascal's 18th. im not such a mean and heartless friend. HAHAHAHAHA. ;)
sooo evetor and I arrived at the place like way early so we started taking a walk and engaging in our favourite hobby. after like waiting and waiting (for vanna and susan) we finally went in and they arrived too! YAY. Pascal the bday boy greeted us excitedly and we proceeded for drinks. OMGGGGG there was like 200 bottles of beer for like wht? 30+ ppl. FREAKING AMAZING. but we decided on liquor instead. (faster way to get high) so drink by drink passed and i must say lemon vodka (german brand) IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. like wayyy better than absolut. HAHA pascal should like give me a few bottles i'll be so happy. HAHA the bar tendeders made really good drinks like pineapple mix peach mix vodka. also amazing. haha nice nice music dance dance got high. photo photo and wah la! sing bday song and give present. HAHA (executive summary). so i left arnd 12.30 being a spoiler as usual! haha but i must say it was a hell of a party and really enjoyable!

there are many PIGS in life. they exist in the form of human beings. but what i cannot stand the most are not pigs. they are fucking AMs who think they are so damn freaking smart and that they rule over others. they like to give stupid comments like "ohh so anti social" and other dumb related stuff because they think fucking and getting wasted is a lifestyle that they truly enjoy. sometimes when you dont feel like talking to them at all they must poke their big POINTED nose into everyone's business because they believe they can "settle" it. HAHAHA. some people just need to MTOFB. (mind their own fucking business) no wonder business grade so high sia. HAHAHA.
math IA is such a fucked up waste of time ahhh! everything this week is so F**KED. dun feel like going to school :( school is so pissing me off now. but im looking forward again in 33 days to finally be in the comfort of RELIABLE and TRUE companionship unlike a certain use-and-abuse policy around these days.

ah chooo!
so im back in the land of tainted milk and lead paint! HAHAHA kill me please..
Sg was fun as usual! like i said, it u dun have to go to school here! its DAMN FUN. i felt like a part time COW when i was in SG, ate so much like almost everyday! 2 buffets in 1 week!!! omg omg omg. haha at coca, when we (mish, shaun and I) wasted ALOT of food we had to siam quickly. the waitress said to mish "why you all not eating already?? the prawns so fresh!!" HAHAHA. FYI before tht we just dump whtever we couldnt eat into the pot. HAHAHA such idiotssss. anyway vans was very late as usual. TWO AND A HALF HOURS. HAHAHA and she still dares to say she redeemed herself! haha omggg. by buying ice-cream. SORRY! NOT COUNTED!! HAHA U OWE BIG TIME! haha sooo many people i didnt get to meet up with unfortunately. sighs so little time so much things to do. This week in SG has been pretty amazing. SG is such a nice place where reality is harsh but if u dont work and study, its like the best place to escape reality. Just slacking and shopping and talking everyday... extremely bad for EE progress. HAHAHA! anyway this week so far i havent met alot of people and FYI F1 race was A MAZING! haha wooo just that with a normal digi cam u cant really catch much! SPONSOR SLR anyone? hahaha omg its thursday already and tmr i will be flying off. haha i love it when people ask me out. its such a great feeling to have!
anyway seoul garden with mish and welson on tues made me feel like a fat pig! haha so random. BENNY HENG WEE WEE PLEASE COME ONLINE AND SEND ME SONGS. THANK YOU.

When Selfishness Rears Its Ugly Head
human being, being human are complicated mammals. We often act before thinking and much less of the reverse. I think being selfish is an integral part of human nature. Its always better if we "keep" everything to ourselves or choose not to share information with others. Its just our natural feeling. What if he/she is better than me? What if he/she uses my idea? What if he/she does a better job than me? What ifs.. and what ifs... it is very easy to be selfish nowadays and not so easy to share the benefits and knowledge we acquire. This pertaining fear in us drives our selfish desire to want more for ourselves and benefit thy self only.
I do not like to be confronted with acts of selfishness. Especially among friends whom you trust and share stuff with. I find it absolutely ridiculous that simple things can drives hurt feelings on the basis of trust and friendship. I think it is absolutely NOT worth keeping something that is of material/academic value and not choosing to share. But then i guess its just a natural part of our being and we do it unconsciously quite often thinking we gain the most advantage but not realising the loses we stand to face. Selfishness drives us to be people we are not. It rears its ugly head in the simplest of situations and makes everyone uncomfortable... oh well...
today in school was not a very pleasant day.. but 3 days more to my return! haha. i love singapore so much. the reality of life, squeezing in mrts, criticizing the amusing nature of fellow singaporeans. absolute reality and cold hard truth that NS is less than a year away (OMG). that is why i love singapore. its just beautiful because the people make it beautiful. (haha madness) group 4 project tomorrow... hope it will be an enjoyable experience... but really looking forward to coming back and the multitude of deadlines to meet! :) cant wait to see everyone. Hopefully.

BRA-ces
hellooo so my braces have been installed into my teeth HAHAHA like how u install programs. okay nevermind. anyway they're really weird only at the back teeth so there's like a metal line attaching it. No pictures though cuz i tink it looks bad and im wearing pyjamas now. HAHAHA. so too bad.
anyway its really disgusting and uncomfortable like food always gets stuck and i rinse my mouth 5 times after every meal to see to the horror the amount of food particles stuck everywhere. IEWW. okay sorry for the overshare. besides that the dentist is really weird and funny. that day while making the braces he got pissed quite often with his lack-of professional abilities and went something like 他妈的！真讨厌每次这样子的！anyway it was really weird to have ur mouth open for 3 hours onli to hear someone say that and get pissy. so unprofessional please.
also as you know, i am a BIG US political junkie. not my country also so concerned HAHA im just interested okay people have different interests. Anyway im really pissed at mccain which is why u see my support OBAMA sign there. not as if it helps but adds value to the blog x 1000. kudos to yw for the code! anyway im so happy we're like talking about the economy. because its an arguement that obama would definately win. and i cannot stand sarah palin please thank you. this election the chocie is between same old or new. why is it so hard to choose? Please america, do the right thing for once and vote obama. dont mess up like how u did for gore and kerry and we all know who the winner of those 2 were. okay.
on a lighter note. coming back to singapore friday early morning. midnight flight. Ultra sian-ness man! midnight flights mess my sleeping habits urghhh! haha looking forward to it. please ask me out (desperate plea). Oh sorry about the school post. because when i went to school on friday with my armed and fully charged camera, i completely forgot to take pictures. HAHAHAA wht a major screw up. so i will try again on monday. blame it on my inherent STM (short term memory). thats all folks

Kena Cheated
Hellooo all! i was suppose to blog about a day in school on wednesday so all of you can see how it is like! BUT.. when i was taking the 3rd picture my phone camera suddenly died and i ended up having very few pictures. HAHA SO SAD. temporarily postpone it to friday. HAHAHA

Virgin Post.
Hellooo... im back on blogspot again! after a failed attempt of using livejournal.
the chinese government completely annoys me with this senseless blocking of blog sites. its like whats the point of allowing blogger and blocking livejournal and xanga? doesnt make any sense to me but oh well.. HAHAHA. so suspicious...
anyway you might be wondering why im blogging again.. well simply because mish asked me to but the added bonus was she set up the whole account and all that jazz as well
kudos to mish! YAY!! haha so in return im suppose to attempt to blog regularly. HAHAHA. not a bad deal if you ask me..
haha school has been jepalan and shitty especially business. Dexter phillips is like a possessed psychopath when he talks about IAs (internal assessment) im like chill negro!! its like the first draft is due in december man... which is liek THAIPUSAM months away. but noo.. he wants a draft of the first draft. so lameee. and a complete waste of my precious time. ahah besides that he is my EE (extended essay) supervisor to which i havent done anything at all. how great is that!! ultra screwed mannn!! haha. pascal is so funny and retarded with the stories he tells me each day.. i am thoroughly amused!

FREAKING uncomfortable man its like having bad sex. HAHAHA such bad comparisons. oh well thats all for today folks! better inform rest of the world about this new blog. next post will have pictures.
