DECEMBER VIDEOS

Alex loves his rocking horse and can now get on and ride by himself, check it out!

Alex is in a phase...walking on his tip-toes. Now that I think about it, the phase might be over because I have not seen him do it in a few days now!

It did not go well with Santa today, as you can see. I prepped as much as possible...EVERY time we saw Santa (TV, decorations, pictures, etc.) I said, "It's Santa, our friend!!" Mission: Not accomplished. We'll try again Monday and let you know how it goes...

Christmas Pictures

These pictures were taken on 10 December, by my friend Angee Powell Woulfe, who is a photograher. Alex was getting a little grumpy/tired but Angee was very patient and we got some really cute pictures!

Tiny Dancer

Alex is really enjoying dancing these days and we're trying to keep him in the Christmas spirit with some holiday tunes. WARNING: Marc and I are NOT good singers so beware before you push play.

Alex also loves dancing to cheer on the Yellow Jackets with Daddy and Grandpa Chuck! The hell to Georgia!

So Long November!!

Here is Alex eating his Thanksgiving meal...he LOVED the stuffing! We're working on that camera smile...it looks like he hates the food or has gas.
So much to be thankful for!
Alex LOVES his horse and can get on it and ride all by himself now! Thank you again to Leo for this beautiful homemade horse!!!

Bath time this weekend...now it's funny to splash mommy and throw my toys "overboard."

Double dog dare ya!

I love this outfit...it's from Robert and Stella!

Checkin' out the grass in the back yard.

Mommy helped Alex get bundled up to play over Thanksgiving!
He does not get the mitten thing yet but got used to them!
Alex loves to climb up to his slide and go down...he can almost go solo.
We had a great Thanksgiving here at the house, just the three of us! Alex has been sleeping great and eating a lot now that he is over the strep throat. He's growing like a weed and is SO smart. He is very methodical like his mother. He likes to clean up (helps us wipe down his tray after eating) and he has to have his juice cup in the round "cut-out" on the high chair...it cracks me up! Happy Birthday to Alex's Grandpa Mike who turned 57 today!!! We love you!!

Sweet November

Alex was sick two weekends ago so here is where he and I slept together from about 3am on...he was just so cute once he finally fell asleep, too bad it was like 7am and he woke up 15 minutes after I took this cute pic!

He is loving his Tonka truck...he might have a future as a stunt man b/c he likes to stand up on it too...don't blink your eyes or it will all be over.

He is also very attached to his Lego bus these days and thinks it is another mode of transportation...he fits in just snug and loves it.

Pull me, mommy. Go, go...

Why are we stopped?

What a cutie...he cracks us up.

He finally figured out that he can pull it behind him. He frequently checks to make sure it's still there....which reminds me of my mom telling stories about Charlie ALWAYS looking behind him.

It's still there, rolling along.

Last-minute playground time before the cold rolled in. It's supposed to be down to 22 degrees tonight (18 Nov) and it snowed for a bit today.

Climbing backwards, up the tunnel slide, with dad's help.

Up and over...

and back down. Repeat.

This is one of the few words he says, "ball." he loves throwing his red soccer ball!

Happy Halloween!!

Alex is prepped and ready to get some candy w/ his Frankenstein candy pail.
He's already chowing down on some from Ms. Randy next door...

Mommy carved this herself...Trick-or-treat!!

Thankfully daddy got home in time for the end of trick-or-treating and Alex hitched a ride home w/ him !!

Pre trick-or-treat amp up...Alex and I made Halloween cookies Friday afternoon and they were yummy! The cute bib is from Bob and Katie last year...still fits great!

Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. Does that sign look familiar? I held him up next to it last year in his little pumpkin suit...time flies!!!

Um, let's get this one guys.

This one is just my size.

So many pumpkins, so little time.

Wait, I can get it. Lift with your legs...

Three cute lil' punkins

Alex eats everything...sheesh!

CAUTION: Loose dinosaur in our front yard! Beware!

Funny Videos from October

Here is a costume practice run from 21 October.

I bought this for Alex at a consignment sale on 22 October and he loves it!

Alex cannot get enough of peek-a-boo from behind doors...

LONG TIME, NO BLOG

We enjoyed a wonderful visit with Chuck and Christy two weekends ago (I'm behind on BLOGGING). Christy whisked up some delicious dinners, as usual, and thankfully leaves us the recipes. Marc and I enjoyed a day in Annapolis for Homecoming with Mike and Meg Esposito while Alex hung with his grandparents! On Sunday we all went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Steelers...Alex was having fun cheering (loud) when everyone else started cheering...it was pretty funny. Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch and I'll post those pics this week, before Halloween on Friday! Our little dinosaur wags his tail as he runs and it's so funny! Have a great week everyone...Love, Carrie
Go Steelers! What a smile!Hut hut! Go Long!!

Watching' the Steelers beat the Bengels with Grandpa Chuck, sorry CC!

Alex enjoyed having Grandpa Chuck at the house to put him to bed. We need Grandpa Chuck around more often...he made it look easy!

Grandpa Chuck and Alex were studying their colors before bedtime...so cute.

The mower goes EVERYWHERE with him. He will NOT let go of it even when we pick him up.

Chillin' in the bat mobile

PEEK-

A-BOO!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH THIS IS FUN AND I'M FUNNY!
Alex has been testing out his treat bucket for Friday, although he has no idea what candy, Halloween, his costume, or "trick-or-treat" mean. He is one CUTE dinosaur though.
Mommy's lil' punkin'....mwa!

Again, he often carries the lawn mower completely off the ground just like this.

I don't want the mac 'n cheese!! We're trying new things all the time....

Alex is very helpful with the chores around the house. He likes the swiffer because it's like a push toy and slides so easily.

What did mommy get me...it's just my size!

a rocking chair just for me! (He loves bouncing around and standing on it and gets so excited when he sits in it...it's like he knows it's just his size and he's so proud!)
