Alex in his new Jungle Jump-a-Roo
Here is a video of Alex in his new Jump-a-Roo, shot yesterday 2 Dec. We got smart today and put a big book under his feet so that he could reach the ground. He loved looking up at the red parrot. I'll post pictures tomorrow...my camera battery died tonight right as I was about to download! Happy December!!

Happy Thanksgiving and Gig 'Em Aggies!

I hope everyone had as wonderful of a Thanksgiving as we did. Alex's Grammy and Papa visited from Texas, along with his Uncle Matt and Aunt Morgan. Alex donned his Aggie outfit to help cheer on the Aggies in their victory over UT and he got bundled up today for church! We are all looking forward to visiting family in Texas over the Christmas holiday. We are very excited for Alex's first Christmas even though he won't be "into it" this year...maybe next year!

A Visit from Aunt Margot!!
Hi Everyone,
Alexander had a great time hanging out with his Aunt Margot this weekend! We got out the "Exer-saucer" on Saturday and Alex did pretty well in it. His toes can reach the bottom and he can push off a little bit, which he enjoyed. He is starting to stick his tongue out at us a lot now, which you can see from one of the exer-saucer pictures. He's a lot stronger on his stomach now and enjoys taking naps on his tummy, while on his boppy pillow or boppylaunger chair. We'll have a Thanksgiving Day post for sure...Alex will be cheering on the Aggies and ASU. Auny Margot brought Alex an adorable ASU outfit which he will be debuting. Love to you all and have a great (short) week!

Happy Birthday USMC, and Happy Veterans Day!
Well, a lot has happened since Halloween! Alex started daycare on 1 November and one picture is Marc reading his first "report card" with him! Ha ha! He then had his first set of immunizations on 2 Nov and he was a brave little guy...hardly any crying at all. From 5-9 November, Alex was lucky enough to have Grandma CC take care of him and they had a lot of fun. On 9 Nov, Marc and I attended the TBS Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Richmond, VA, and Grandma CC and Grandpa Chuck took care of Alex overnight. We had a great time at the Birthday Ball and it was nice to get a little sleep, no offense Alex! On Saturday we finally captured a smile and a laugh on camera (see pics). Today, Alex and I are at home enjoying a day together in celebration of Veterans Day. This weekend we are excited to have Alex's Aunt Margot come visit, then Grammy and Papa Miller will be here for Thanksgiving, along with Aunt Morgan and Uncle Matt!! We are enjoying all of the company, that's for sure!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2007!!!

First...Happy Birthday, Tom. Gosh, you're OLD. Here are some pictures of Alex's first Halloween. He did a few costume changes as you can see, but he did a great job and he was a big hit with the kids that came by, until he had to go to bed. He was a bit sleepy just like he was at the Pumpkin Patch but we still took the pictures anyways. I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Visit to the Pumpkin Patch!!
Today we visited the Pumpkin Patch after church and Alex was a hit, even though he wasn't really awake for any of it. We bought two large pumpkins and will carve them this afternoon. Alex is more than ready for his first Halloween because it's his mom's favorite holiday. He'll be helping us hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters on Wednesday night!

Esposito Wedding in Annapolis, MD

On the weekend of 29 September, we attended Meg and Michael's wedding in Annapolis, MD. Meg was a stunning bride and the whole weekend was full of joy and love. This was Alexander's first overnight event away from the house and he did great! He even got out his tuxedo for the occasion and was quite the charmer.
