Long Weekend.....Long Post

Here is a small glimpse at our living room. This is my favorite room in the house, it is very unique with its tall ceilings, large brick fireplace, and it's massive shelving unit...Sunday we decided that we needed to update a few things in there so Kev framed out the TV square so we can hang a flat screen...So here is the before

There! All framed and textured ready to be painted, I love having my own handy man!!! Next we wanted to paint the room...Here is Kev getting the hard to reach spots...I WAS NOT about to climb up there!

So here is the color we chose...looks very blue in the picture, but is actually like a greenish blue...So we got most of the painting done but are not quite done all the way. I'll post the finished product when we are finished!!! Also I need to give a shout out to Meg! Thanks for coming and helping us paint! Oh and also running to costco! hehe

Saturday, Alex and I went over to Connie's to bake Christmas cookies with the girls. We had a blast making all sorts of goodies! Here are the busy little bee's...

Last week Kevin and met my Aunt Karisa, Grandma, and Papa John at church for a Christmas play. It was so amazing, they had live animals: Camel's, Zebra's, Donkey's, and even an Elephant! They had a live orchestra and a Christmas tree full of people! We had such a great time! Oh and My favorite part...

Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving we went to Kevin's Aunt Kris and Uncle Brad's house, we had an awesome time spending time with family and eating amazing food! Speaking of food, here are my dishes I brought to dinner my very first green bean casserole, and my awesome awesome olive cheese bread. Well I can't exactly call it mine...I got it from www.thepioneerwoman.com she has amazing recipes!

Twilight!

So Friday Connie, Megan, Sarah, and I went to see Twilight! I have heard people have had mixed feelings on the movie, but I have to say I loved it! It was exactly what I pictured in my head, all the characters were perfect. I would even go see it again! The only bad thing now is we have a long wait for the second movie to come out! Dang, aww well....I encourage everyone who hasn't seen it to go, especially if you read all the books. I want to know what everyone else thought!

Just in time!

When we moved, we left our washer and dryer in our old house for the renter's to use. So that means we have been without a washer and dryer for a week! It took us a while because we weren't sure what kind we wanted, but last night we installed our new washer and dryer! Thank goodness, if we waited any longer to get them I would have been hauling clothes over to Megan and Wes's house! lol...Anyways my favorite thing about them is when they are done they play a fun little song. Kevin makes fun of me when I dance along with the music! lol

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I love Halloween! Here is my Ice Princess Alex Victoria, I wish I could go trick-or-treating with her and my family, but we are going to be busy MOVING! Our house closed yesterday and today we are moving in!!! I will post pictures as soon as we get our internet up at the new house! Hope everyone has a super fun Halloween!!!

Trip to the Zoo!

Last weekend my Mom, Alex, April, Jake, and I went to the Phoenix Zoo! The kids had a blast seeing all of the different animals, and even getting to pet some! Jake wouldn't get very close though, as you can see....

New Home Info.

Work is pretty slow right now, so I decided to blog about the new house! It's located in Desert Hills, which is about 8 miles east of where we live now. It's 3 bedroom, 3 bath, HUGE living room, and 5 car garage. It also has a gigantic fireplace, that I am SO excited to hang stocking's on!!! So everything isn't set in stone yet, we are still getting the paperwork and inspections done. Actually, Kevin is there right now with the termite inspector. So hopefully we close on it really soon so we can start moving in! Our mission this weekend is to get a lot of stuff packed up. So that's my update for now. Have a good Thursday everyone!

Weekend Update

Saturday: I woke up early and headed over to Megan's house and we went to a community garage sale. We had a lot of fun, and got some good stuff. Then we were off to Zach and Kim's house to watch the ASU game. Although Kim and I mostly played cards while the guys screamed at the tv. Then we went to RA for some awesome sushi!!!

Sunday: While Kevin cleaned out the garage, I went to Scottsdale Fashion Square to meet up with my Mom, Sisters, and Aunt. Then it was home for a nice nap, lol.

Monday: So I didn't have to work today because of Columbus Day, lol. Not really sure anyone else had off work, but i'll take it! Anyways, I spent most of the day packing up the house because we are MOVING!!! We just got everything finalized and we are moving into a new house! We are really excited about it, i'll post pictures as soon as we get settled in. So after I got bored of packing I decided to do a little Halloween decorating! So that was my fun filled weekend. I hope everyone had a great one as well!

Fall Fashion!

So I am bored at work, and thought I would show everyone my new Coach purse I just got! I was shopping with my parents last weekend and my sweet father bought it for me! Thanks Dad!!!! Anyways, hope everyone is doing awesome! Peace out!

Baby Ali Grace

My baby cousin, Ali Grace Lara was born last Saturday. This morning I drove to fountain hills to see her for the first time. She is so so tiny and beautiful. I am so happy to finally have a girl cousin! Here I am feeding her.

Saturday night we went to the ASU vs UNLV football game. Sadly, we played really bad and lost. All these pictures were taken before we started losing, so everyone is very happy, then we took a turn for the worst. The guys took the loss pretty bad. So here is a pic of Zach, Kim, Unknown, Kevin, and me! lol, This woman talked to Kevin and Zach the WHOLE game. She knew NOTHING about football. She was only there because her daughter is a cheerleader. She was very nice, but insisted being in a couple of our pictures, lol.

So this woman sitting in front of me turned around and asked if I have read the "twilight" series? I was like "YES! I'm on the 4th book!" Then she pointed to Kevin, not knowing we were together, and said "I think that guy (Kevin) looks JUST like what I picture Edward to look like...I started cracking up! I was like, yeah he's with me. lol! She was so embarrassed and kinda star struck at the same time! It was so funny, I guess I never thought of it but he kinda does...lol

Slumber Party!!!

So we were up in Heber this weekend and we got to visit with my Dad and Tayler, but sadly did not get to see my Mom and Alex because they were in Fountain Hills at the condo. On our way down we swung in and picked up Alex so she could spend the night at our house. Sunday Alex helped me grocery shop, then we took a dip in the pool. That night Kevin took us on a date to PF Changs! It was soooo good, Kevin taught Alex how to use chop sticks! We had a blast so much fun! After dinner was bath time for Alex and after I made Root beer floats for us!! YUM YUM

So after desert we went upstairs to watch a movie, and what would a movie be without POPCORN! Alex HAD to have popcorn with the movie, so here she is sharing with me...lol
