Gorjuss Video - Almost spring!

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share a Gorjuss scene, with a simple background, and a Gorjuss outfit with pleats and folds. Because the weather has been extremely cold lately, I was inspired to make a winter/almost spring card ;)

I stamped my Gorjuss Girl, called Pom Pom, in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then I masked her and put washi tape around my card to stamp the Penny Black tree called Tree-Heart. Here is the final card:

I filmed the whole colouring process and did not speed it up too much so hopefully you can see what I'm doing.

I tried to use not too many colours, so 3 markers for the sky and snow and used the same greys for shading as the ones for her hair and hat. The white I added for snow was done with a Molotow marker.

Here is a recap of all the colours I used:

Skin: BV00, E11, YR000, 00
Hair: 100, W5, 7
Blue: B02, 05, 18, 39
Pink: R20, 22, RV29, W5, 7
Hat: 100, W1, 3, 5, 7
Sky: B000, 00, BV000
Snow: BV000, B000
Tree: BV00, E33, 57, 59, R20, 22

That's all from me today! Thank you for stopping by, have a beautiful day!

Vintage Gorjuss in video

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share a simple Gorjuss Girl card and video. When you start cardmaking, you don't always have a ton of supplies, but after all, all it takes is a few markers and a stamp, right? So I thought I would share something simple, with very few supplies. Monochrome is a must to me, I like the look of it and the fact that you colour with a limited palette.

Here is my finished card:

The Gorjuss Girl stamp I used is called Thumbelina. I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black with an oval negative mask to hide the bottom of her body. I drew around the oval shape using my W0 marker to have the oval around her and then coloured everything with my Copics.
Here is the video of the colouring process:

As you can see in the video, I used Warm Greys only, because they are brownish greys, and I used even numbers. These are available in Sketch markers only, but if you own Ciaos, you can colour using odd numbers plus the W0, so W0, 1, 3, 5, 7 plus Black 100.

Skin: W00, 0, 2, 4
Hair: W6, 8, 10
Dress: W0, 2, 4
Ribbon: W6, 8
Background: W0, 2

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs,

A Gorjuss Girl Video - Up in a tree

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share a Gorjuss card and video :)

Here is my finished card, with a Gorjuss stamp from the Little Leaf stamp set:

I stamped my Gorjuss stamp on a masked card to have a white border and coloured the whole scene in Copics.

Here is the colouring process, and then a few words:

For the skin, please note that after I stopped filming I decided to fix the skin a bit and give it more contrast, so I added one more layer of each colour on the darkest places of the face and arms.

My idea was to create a green background to suggest the foliage without colouring detailed leaves, but rather a green blurry mass behind my character.

Skin: BV11, E11, 13, RV02, YR000, 00
Hair: B32, N6, 8, 10
Outfit: B02, 04, 16, 28, 39, N0, 2, 4, 6, 10
Sky: BG000
Foliage background: 0, YG09, 11, 23, W5, W7
Branch: E31, 37, 39, 49

Thank you very much for stopping by today! Hugs,

Gorjuss Bubble Fairy with Video

Hi all,

Today it is my turn..
I have coloured up my new Gorjuss stamp, it is called bubble fairy and it is quite a big size.

I have stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Perfect Colouring Paper
and have started to colour the skin with E51, E53, E33

Afterwards I have coloured the wings with B0000, B000, B00

Her dress was coloured with B60, B63, B66, B69, B79

For the colouring of her hair I have  made a speed colouring video

Hope it was fun to watch. I have used these colours YR21, YR24, E18, E29, This is a great hair colour combo - at least I love this one .

The stockings with C0, C3, C5 , gelly roll pen white

her boots with B60, B63, B66, B69

Some details on her dress with stardust rolly pen, white rolly pen.
On the wings I have added some glue with a quikie glue pen and sprinkled some glitter on top...

The background shadowing with BV0000, BV 000, BV 01

In the same stamp set there are some smaller stamps too,
like these stars which I have added with some Memento Danube blue ink.

I has become a cover of a kind of book..
I have used a Crealies die to cut the stitched tag shape, and the strapped pages edges were cut with a die from Joy.

Some ribbons and it is ready..

Thanks for your visit, I would love to receive some feedback.

Going BIG!!

Hello everyone! Delphine here today and get ready, today, I've decided to go BIG! Yes, instead of making a card, I had a frame to fill so decided why not colour a big A4 image to go in it? I used an XL Gorjuss Girl stamp, which you can see below on an A4 sheet to give you an idea.

After stamping my Gorjuss Girl, I traced a rectangle using a Copic grey Multiliner to determine where I would stop my colouring - the idea being to just cut off some of the white edges to frame my girl in an 18x24 frame.

I started by colouring the background without trying to blend the colours. I used V12, 15, 17. Very messy, but not a problem!

I then used my Blender 0 Refill on a natural sponge and dabbed until I was satisfied with the background.

Now to the colouring of my girl itself - I started with the skin as usual, in YR000, 00, 01, E11, E71 and a bit of RV02 for the cheeks.

I then focussed on the clothes using the same colour family as my background - the purple is V09, 12, 15, 17. For the black of her dress, I used C5, 7, 9 and for the socks C0, 1, 3. As you can see, I did not pay too much attention to the little dots on her dress since I knew I would cover them in gel or paint pen at the end.

I coloured the hair using my C markers to really have harmony in the picture - so C5, 7, 9 too, as for the dress. Here is a recap of all the colours I used:

Skin: E11, 71, YR000, 00, 01, RV02
Hair: C5, 7, 9
Dress: C5, 7, 9, V09, 12, 15, 17
Socks: C0, 1, 3, V12, 15, 17
Ground: C3, 5
Background: V12, 15, 17

As a final touch, I added hearts using the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Hearts Stencil and a Pentel gel pen, and I also added a bit of white and gold highlights in Posca pen and gel pen too.

That's all from me today, thank you very much for your visit! Hugs,
Delphine xx

Building a background

Hi there Copic loversElena F here from Scrap-lanak Ganbaran.

For my latest DT project I have built a background matching the theme of the stamp I used.

I stamped my rubber Gorjuss Girl stamp (how much do I love rubber stamps?!) in Memento Desert Sand Ink to colour her using the No Lines Colouring Technique. I love to colour this way.

Here you've got the picture of my project:

...and here's a closer look at the colouring:

I'm going to show you in pictures how I built this scene.

I take my ruler and draw a central line, which is going to be the center of the perspective.

At an 80 degree angle I draw the angle for the two walls.

Then using the same angle I draw an open door to make my scene more interesting and I draw by hand the decoration for the door.

I draw a chimney, also respecting the 80 degrees angle.

Then I start colouring my stamp, as you can see in the next step pictures:

I love to colour skin in E0000, 00, 21, 11 and 13.This is my super favourite skin combo.

Then I colour in dark blonde her hair using  E57,35 and 31.

Then I took my sepia Multiliner to add details to the eyes, a very few tiny lines in the hair and in the contour of her face. See how different she looks? There is much more depth.

Then I colour her dress using  BG10, 11, 13 and a few tiny touches of BG49.

Now I start coloring my background in a light pink using RV10, R81, 83.

To colour the incoming wall (darkest for the shadow) I draw across the line with the marker and the ruler and then I add straight lines to blend all over.

As it appears she is decorating the room...a little BV11 colouring.

Then I took My R43 to make a patterned wallpaper look.

I colour the door in E43, 42, 41, 40 and the dark shadow of the other room in N5 and 7 (not shown in the picture).

Finaly I coloured the chimney C1, 00 and blender and the inside of it with C7 and C5.

I hope you found this post inspiring.
Thanks for sticking with me to the end!
