Just a few minutes here

Well, its been nearly 7 months since I last posted to the blog.  My days are full and my laptop broke so getting to the computer is even more difficult than before.  We are enjoying the summer pace and before we know it we'll be getting back to our normal routines with earlier bedtimes, school and my favorite time of the year, FALL!   But for now I will enjoy the slow mornings and listening to the girls giggle and sing songs that carry easily through our thin walls and floorboards.  Hamp's first birthday is quickly approaching and I can say without a doubt that the Lord has many wonderful things in store as we begin to see glimpses of what little boys are all about and figure out how to encourage and draw out the gifts that God has set deep within his heart.  He's a sweet boy that LOVES his Mama and I adore him.  These past few months have been really fun as I watch the girls relationship grow and the love and care they show for their little brother.  They are each such a blessing to our family.  I love them so! Time, please slow down.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas celebrating with family!  Life continues to be chaotic (but at the same time more joyful) with 3!

Hampton's Baptism

Today Hampton was baptized at our church, Intown Community Church, by our interim pastor, Terry Gyger.  It was such a special day for little Hamp and our family as the baptism is an outward sign of God's covenant with his people.  And we were challenged and committed to raising and teaching Hampton about God's everlasting love and ultimate gift of grace through his son Jesus Christ our Lord.  So one day he can come to know him and accept him in his heart in a personal way. We are so thankful for the family and friends that were there to support and love us as we seek God's will for our family.

This beautiful gown was made by my Aunt Glenda.  Such a special gift of love for our precious son!

Hampton Scott Cooper

On Saturday August 3rd at 4:28 pm we welcomed Hampton Scott Cooper into our family.  What an amazing surprise!!!  A baby boy!  He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 21 inches long.  We are so blessed and thankful for our long and lean healthy baby boy.  He took his sweet time to make his way into the world most of last Saturday then everything happened quickly over the span of an hour and we were holding our sweet Hamp.  Thank you Lord for choosing us to love and raise this precious son.

We are adjusting well as a family of 5.  Hard to believe he is here and that a little boy has joined our family.  We are so thankful and blessed by this gift!  We love you Hamp and are enjoying getting to know you and soaking in all the newborn cuddle time :)

MA's Neverland Party

MA requested a Neverland party about 6 months before her birthday.  It was so much fun planning the party as there were SO many ideas and options to run with.  Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so my idea to have the backyard setup like Neverland was moved down stairs.  It was close quarters, but the kids still had a great time!  Many of our friends and family came to celebrate.  Such a wonderful day and we are so thankful for all those who love and support our sweet girl.
