Cooper's wished to go to Disney World. We left on the afternoon of February 9th and drove to Salt Lake City. At 5 a.m. on February 10th we arrived at the Salt Lake City Airport and flew out of Salt Lake City to Atlanta, Georgia. After a very short layover we boarded another airplane to Orlando, Florida. Here is Cooper and the kids meeting the Captain and sitting in his seat.
This was Cooper's first time flying. All of the kids were very excited and had a good time flying. The first plane was great. We all had t.v.'s with many stations to watch for the 3 hour flight. The second flight was short and bumpy but we made it. Here are some more pics of the kids on the plane and airport taking it all in.
We arrived in Florida at 3:35 and then rented a van and headed for Give The Kids The World Village where there are many little houses for Wish Kids and their families. They have their own little village separate from the Theme Parks but a very central to everything. When we arrived we checked into our home and then had a Pirates and Princesses Party. They also have an ice cream shop and serve ice cream from 7 a.m. til 10 p.m. Cooper's favorite is a scoop of strawberry in a cone. The kids were also able to ride a carousel near the ice cream shop in our little village. It was a great first day!
