it's hard to tell today if any artists have any real skills/techniques/knowledge. i'm also sad to say the same for the fashion industry. everyone tells you it's all about branding, and there are the ones who make a shitload of money and hype, and there are the rest who do actually care about learning, working, and putting in time and effort into every single aspect of design.
