Antwerp

The past few months in Antwerp have been amazing. I'm so thankful for the experiences here: the internship - an extremely valuable learning journey (about the industry, the amount of WORK that goes on behind the scenes, interaction with others, about my own development as an aspiring designer). all the freelance projects that i undertook; bloomed and flourished. dear friends whom i've made here. dear belgian people, i will always be in praise of your services. and the cafes! the bars! the shops!!! an immense feeling of positivity. mostly, i think having my own space and alone-time did me well. unfortunately, i think that may be the reason why i don't feel ready to return to singapore (although i may not say the same after i graduate). the life i lead now is so different from my life before, and i like this version of my self so much more; there is so much more satisfaction and enjoyment in the things i do now; so much more coherency in my thoughts and actions (though not always); and i hope this surge and drive to do more, work more, never ends.
