Your misery and my fortunacy

The holidays are here!!! I've reached a point of absolute geekiness. I'm actually revelling in the mood of a mere term break. And I'm so gonna be kicked out of Hooked. Sooner or later, they will realize that I havent attended a single meeting since the very first one last year, that I've written only 2 1/2 articles, that my excuses are all lies, lies, lies! Muahaha. Whatever.
Charlotte Perkins Gilman's The Yellow Wallpaper is a fascinating read. Although it seems to mark a person's descent into insanity (in conventional terms), I see it more as an ascent to empowerment and freedom. See? I told you I'm geeky.

Clément Mathieu

I'm not exactly proud of my french test grade but I just found it hilarious the way I managed to smoke through the "name 2 french actors" section. I didn't know any but I remembered this character named Clément Mathieu from the film Les Choristes. I decided to try my luck and put this very french-sounding name down. I got the mark for it! When the teacher returned the test papers, she asked me where I watched him in. I said Les Choristes, to which she nodded her head and told the class how they should learn the names of french actors(like me).

DESTROY!

The opening party of the Singapore Biennale was disappointing - and boring - Where was the promised levitation! Oops, it was supposed to be this morning, not last night. Some Singaporeans are bizarrely anal. "I can't believe the government would allow a man clad in white underwear screaming "DESTROY!!!" on stage." It was a most satirical and comical act which I might aptly use for The Great Gatsby (some creative writing assignment).

Anyway, please do visit the locations of the Singapore Biennale.
