Okay, just look at the info. The price is $258 and there's 6 bands. For me, since i listen to all the artist, $258 is pretty reasonable. I mean its in Singapore for godsake, everything in Singapore is expensive so if you compare it everything in Singapore to rate first, it's freaking affordable. Did i mention 4 of the 6 bands are those top bands.

If you attend a showcase, the average price is like $130 this days. and it's only for 1 band, a showcase where they will talk for like 10 mins and sing 1 or 2 song. That my dear is only for one artist. This event is a concert consisting 6 artist, so of course the price is reasonable.

So, some fans are complaining about the ticket price. I mean okay since they are a fan of only one band, $258 for about 20 mins is quite expensive. But if you compare, if you go to a normal showcase too in singapore, it's about 20 mins too.. The other time when SUJU came to Singapore, i remember SG fans buying tickets online at prices far ridiculous. More then $300, and that is for a showcase. This is a concert for god sake!

SG fans are funny, they demand artist but when they do come, they complain that the price is steep. and they compare the price with Korea, Thailand or China tickets. Hello, can you compare the cost of living in the country and the ticket price first before you say anything much. and for Korea, it's their home country of course it's cheaper!

If you complain much, go to either country for events or do not go at all. Isn't it easier. For me, i have no time to travel overseas thus having them here is good enough. Furthermore, if i go overseas, the price for all the expenses is high. I rather spend the money for a one day thing in SG.

I am also glad that they do not do via sistic. because call me selfish, at the very least we singaporeans are given much more advantage. you will have to compete with overseas fans if not. Hello, just look at the artist, Big Bang apart from Japan and not so often Thailand, where else have they held a concert at? Furthermore, they havent had much activities this days. and FTI and SHINee just had a comeback too. and we all know that there are tonnes of sones here in SG. so, get the big picture first. Having them sell at HMV is good.

But then i rather they release the info of ticket purchase on friday night rather then now. haha, cause those who do not have the money would not have any way to purchase the ticket now. so it will be more of an advantage.

there's o'level two days after the concert. poly students are having exams on monday. students are schooling on friday and have assement classes on saturday. adults are working. so, it's a fair deal for all.

anyway, all in all, what i wanted to say is can all those idiotic fans just shut the hell up. i waited more then 7years for any K-artist to come to here in Singapore. After all this years, KPOP is on the rise and i am freaking thankful. There's alot of new and young fans now, and at times some of their attitude is really making me want to strangle them!

fact #332: i am scared of birds now. full stop!

Happy Ramadhan to all Muslims out there.

I wonder who out there still visits this site? It's been like a year long hiatus huh.

Anyway, here's something to write about. What am i doing now. Which currently is confusing quite tonnes of people around me. Hehehe. Be it family members, friends or teachers.

I have graduated from poly last year. Yup, Temasek Design School, Diploma of Interative Media Design. It's been quite some time but i really do miss school. Especially staying in school, sleeping in school and being around the people in school. I guess i will visit TP one day soon again. I am happy to know that most of my friends are happy working out there ^___^ Some have even set up their own families and in plan to.

What about me then?
After graduation, me and my friends started to travel. Short trips for a vacation or daily trips to nearby country like Malaysia or Indonesia. It was pretty fun, snorkeling and shopping, who wouldn't love it right.

KPOP is garnering much interest here in Singapore. There's tonnes of events that i have actually went to from SHINee to Super Junior to Lee Minho to Xiah Junsu. Big names, big artist. If only this was three years ago, there would be a high possibility that DBSK would be coming here. I mean two of SM big artist were here last year. Not only once but thrice and SUJU is coming again next year for a concert. And also, Junsu was a part of DBSK. Which reminds me, Dong Bang may have come here for their Mirotic Concert too. Boohoohoo.. Ouh well, two more days and BEAST would be back bringing along 4minute with them. Cool shit. I miss Beast for sure. Was one showcase that you would never forget about.

Since there was time too, i signed up for Korean class along with Victoria and got to know quite great friends and teachers. Which reminds me, shit i forgot to tell 윤 선생님 about the cancellation of the class gathering. Studying Korean sure was fun. Since the school shifted, i stop studying for now. I need to find the time too but i doubt i will have any these days. I'm at intermediate by the way.

Work life was okay for me, never went for a full-time job, just because. I was helping friends to design their sites or poster. I was also part-timed as an event coordinator. Must say, my experience in school really helped me out here. Got to helped out in weddings, some company events and also concerts. It was surely a great experience. Something which i love to do too.

But was this was all for fun. Need to face the reality now that i need to work out and get myself a stable life. Something which i love to do and working in the design sector is not in my plan for sure. Currently there are two options, further studies of working in the childcare centre. Yes people, haven't i mention times and again in poly that i would love to care for children.

Studies. Most people think that i take up Korean class just because i love listening to and watching korean stuff. But that is not the case actually. I would love to further my studies which i have already applied for and right now, i am just waiting for a reply from their side. Do you think i would make it? I'm not that confident of myself either. I mean just look at where i am applying too. Kyunghee University. It's quite a good school actually and wanna know which department i applied for? Convention Management. Like i have mention before, i wok part-time in an event company right. It surely was a great experience to have, really open up my eyes.

But fear not, if that fails through i can always work in the childcare sector. Haha. Yes yes, childcare. Who says it's not fun. It's fun for sure. Yesterday was my one day attachment. Next Tuesday, i would have to come down to the centre and work out with them about the job offer. If i am not offered a position for my studies, then i would head out and work then,a full time job. So there's a chance i will be called "Teacher Hajar" one day. LOL.

So, that's what i have been doing so far. It's been great for sure. Cheers!

fact #331: I show no mercy to pest.. Kill them all i say

Diploma show is currently ongoing. I shan't say much about it since most of the seniors are feeling the same way i guess.

I just want to say, i have the kindest of neighbour ^_^
I woke up one day to find one nyonya in the living room talking to my parents just to chat chat
A few years ago, a neighbor call my family out to ask if we want school bags, he gave us more than 10 backpacks.
You can depend on them always, especially when we go overseas and no one is taking care of the plant, house or car
and lastly, like just now, your neighbour can just call you up and ask if you want any breakfast as they are out buying then! Wah, they even think about you... so i ordered prata... hehe

Farewell

We were suppose to go to LA together this year but due to my brother and my school schedule, my family went to Hong Kong and his went to LA. They just got back yesterday at 3am and no one expected the surprise 18 hours later. Jet lag and exhaustion you may say, 16 hours of flight is no easy feet. My dad was suppose to pick them up but due to flight delay he didn't.

We traveled together since young, Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Istanbul, China and so on. It's always been us traveling together and we were foolish everywhere. From roller coaster rides to skiing, we did them all. Nice fond memories.

5 missed call from home, i had a bad feeling about it. Everyone thought that the news was a joke. I mean, they just got back from overseas. Who would have known that he be gone forever right. No sickness of any sort, a black swollen face, a sign of heart attack. Fatigue.

Good thing was, he got the clothes he wanted and eat the food he love. He told his sister he was a tad bit tired due to the journey. Just glad that he went doing all the things he loved but he left his beloved behind.

Fainting and delusional. That was the atmosphere. The family have yet to overcome the traveling tiredness and this has to occur. Always be strong and keep the faith is all i have to say. My Condolences. Haikal Bin Roslan.

As you may or may not be aware, Eric's management Top Class Entertainment has contacted us about holding Eric's video screening (see information here) in Singapore.

Initially the condition of holding a screening event in Singapore was a guaranteed minimum of 600 fans attending. Unfortunately as this is realistically beyond our capabilities, we informed them so and regretfully had to decline.

However Top Class Entertainment has contacted us again and reduced their minimum to 350 fans attending. This is still a large number but we are willing to try and work to this number as we believe this is an opportunity for all Shinhwa fans.

We strongly believe that the reason they have not only approached Singapore but even reduced their minimum capacity is because of the trust they have formed with Singapore fans from the great successes we've had with past Shinhwa related events.

Therefore just as these past events has led to this Eric event in Singapore, we believe that once Shinhwa re-groups and holds world-wide tours, (which we have no doubt they will) depending on the continued success of the individual member events, Shinhwa will again return to Singapore with the firm knowledge that many will turn up to support their concerts.

We also have strong evidence to believe that future K-Pop concerts are inclined to hold their concerts in Singapore over Thailand. This is undoubtedly a great opportunity for all Singaporean music fans.

It is up to ALL of us to show that our support is unwavered during the time Shinhwa is on hiatus, and that we will continue to support and turn up to their events now and four years down the track too.

So we are asking all Eric supporters, Shinhwa supporters or even general K-music supporters to reply to this thread if you are CONFIRMED that you can attend the Eric Screening Event during the period of 11st of April 2009.

Please feel free to post this notice up on other websites where people may be interested. Every reply counts!

Once we get at least 350 positive replies, we will immediately contact Top Class Entertainment to give them the go ahead to come to Singapore and hopefully many more great events will come searching for Singapore as their number 1 stop in the future!
