And now for something completely different. 

Ahhhh, the election is over. It is an honor, certainly, but we all bear pain as candidates rip into each other, so I am glad that is over. Heck - I even had someone come into my yard to deface a political sign, and also write curse words in the dust on my mom van. (Sadly, Alex immediately got to work at decoding them. ) I know at least half the nation is disappointed, that same half was elated 4 and 8 years ago. Those rejoicing tonight, were shocked and defeated 4 and 8 years ago. We've all survived, and will continue to - God willing!

Our chic fall~ish palette this week is based on this gorgeous Heritage Pumpkin Dinner Plate from Pottery Barn!

I am absolutely in love with the ladies' samples this week - they are AMAZING!!!!

Hello, happy late Tuesday! How's your week? Our summer is drawing to a close... I wish we had another month! My grandmother has been in the hospital for almost a week, but they don't know what's going on... if you could spare a prayer or two for her and my grandfather, we would be so blessed. We are also in the middle of VBS - of which I am in charge - and we are having a wonderful week.

Thank you all for playing with us last week - so so many beautiful cards!

Good evening! I'm in the home stretch... the kids are out for summer break starting at 11:30 am on Thursday. Yes, they have to go for 3 1/2 hours on the last day. This school year just sped by - not sure how!
