Florida

Right after Kaylea's graduation, we took her on a senior trip to Florida. We had so much fun! We went to Universal Studios, my favorite was Hogwarts, and everything Harry Potter! We spent the whole day there and just really enjoyed each other.

 We were able to get a free hotel because Steve travels so much, The problem was, we didn't know the area very well. We ended up being in a pretty scary part of town, but it was okay because we just slept there, and spent most of the days away. YIKES!

 We went to church on Sunday, and it was pretty cool because the church was directly across the street from the temple. Beautiful! There were also missionaries in the ward. We have a missionary in our stake serving in the same mission. When we asked them about him, they knew him and said they would let him know we were in their ward.

 On our last day, we took the kids on an airboat ride through the Everglades. It was a BLAST!! After an AMAZING rainstorm! We actually thought they were going to turn us away because it rained so hard, but it only lasted about 10 minutes. I've never seen rain like that!! We were able to see a few alligators (crocodiles? I can't remember!)

I would highly recommend Florida!! Fun times!!

Kaylea's Graduation!!!

We had Kaylea's seminary graduation last Sunday, and tonight was Kaylea's High School Graduation. We had to go to the Huntsman Center at the U of U. It was really nice, Kaylea was so cute, she looked beautiful, and I only broke down and cried once or twice.

I'm so proud of her. She will leave us soon.... Too soon....
