Play date with Laree. January 6th, 2012 They were making salads out of grass. So cute.

They change so quickly Lincoln is starting to look like a baby and not a newborn.


Lanae is a wonderful big sister. She loves to hold Lincoln. The other day while she was holding him she asked me to sit him up. So I asked her why and she said that he had a gas bubble. So I sat him up in her lap and she patted his back and bubble came out. She knows more than I do sometimes.



January 8th 2012. Lincoln is one month old. At his one month check up the doctor said he looked great. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz, 22 inches long and his head is 14.5 inches. I am so thankful he is growing so well. With Lanae I did not have enough breast milk so I had to supplement all the time. This time I have enough and I am so thankful. Breast feeding does make it allot easier. Plus I feel like I am building a wonderful bond with Lincoln.

I am Trying to catch up on my blogging. So if this post seems like it jumps all over that is why.


Lincoln is one month old today. Time seems to fly by so quickly. New year and a new baby. Lincoln was born December 8th, 2011 at 12:47 PM. 19inches and 7.13 oz. Since I had a c-section with Lanae I was able to schdule this c-section with Lincoln. Going into the c-section I was nervous and scared because with my c-section with Lanae
my epidural was not strong enough and I felt most of the c-section. Needless to say I was worried that would happen again. My doctor reassured me that it would be ok and they were going to do spinal which was stonger. After checking in the hospital I can't believe how great things went. It was like a well oiled machine. I was comfortable and calm. Unfornatly it took them longer to put to the spinal in than the whole c-seciton took. They poked around with a needle for 45 minutes to put the spinal in. But that was the worst part. The rest was great, and my recovery was wonderful. I strongly believe that everything went so well because I got a blessing the night before.

Lincoln and I are doing really well. Lanae loves her little brother and she is adjusting well. She continues to amaze me every day.
She is learning so much at preschool and loves going. She is always pretending to play school.

Christmas was wonderful. Busy and crazy but wonderful. Matt spoiled me again this year. For my Bday he got me a Cricut expressions 2 and for Christmas he got me a sit and stand stroller along many other things. I also got Zumba for wii I am super excited to start working out with it.

This is the first year that I think Lanae truly understand Santa and presents. She was so cute on Christmas morning. This year her big present was a Tangled Vanity Mirror. She told me on Christmas that she heard Santa's bells on the roof. So CUTE !!

We blessed Lincoln on Christmas day. I will post pictures soon. I am so thankful to my Father in Law for blessing him.
