Meagan loves gingerbread so I thought it would be fun to do a gingerbread creation instead of a cake. All I did was buy kits, look at pictures, explain what I liked to my good friend, Dorene, and she & her daughter created this masterpiece!
Found a darling 'village' kit at Target and, voila! Also picked up some evergreens in a bag to help with the winter look.
A train kit at another store, and notice the gingerbread Christmas tree in the background. It was so fun discovering all of these!
And one of my favorite ideas, the name plaque!
Time to feed each other the. . . . . .village house?? They loved it!
Refreshments! Another friend, Marjorie, made gingerbread boys and girls, one for each plate, and then add a peppermint candy, a divine chocolate truffle, and hot chocolate to drink! Fun & yummy!
