This post is going to be about Connor and what he is up to these days. I no longer have a baby but a little boy. Connor has been learning and growing like crazy. He has started talking a ton and quite often will say things so clear or ask a question I understand. He knows and can make almost all the animal sounds. When I ask him to say an animal he won't say it but makes the noise except for puppy. He loves to say words like puppy, baby, happy, and Teddy and he says them really well. I am amazed everyday at something he does or says and how smart he is. This morning he was standing in front of my closet with me and when I asked him what he thinks I should wear, he starts pulling on a shirt and says "this" so clear. I know he understands us now most of the time but sometimes when i ask him to do something like pick up the toys he gives me this are you speaking english look it is soo funny. Almost anything we ask him to say he will at least try and he copy's us all the time especially Chris. If Chris laughs at something Connor will laugh too, if Chris puts his feet up on the foot rest Connor does too. He follows chris around trying to help. Oh and what a little helper, I am unable to vacuum, sweep, mop, do laundry, or dishes while he is awake or he thinks he needs to help or do it himself. He throws a fit if I won't let him vacuum. He is such a tough guy and is constantly trying to pick up or move things that he thinks are heavy. If he sees weights he has to carry them around. He can now get in the fridge which is nice in a way but is mostly a pain in the neck. He brings me things he wants like juice and his sippy cup but he also opens whatever he can and will make a hugh mess or start eating it. There was an apple he would munch on then put back for a few days. I am also always finding things in the fridge like his tooth brush, a tractor, or an empty sippy. He keeps opening yogurts, it drives me crazy he won't finish one before he puts it back or leaves it somewhere and opens another). He loves fruit and says orange really well. He is obsessed with juice and will no longer ask for anything else. A week ago he started setting on the potty and taking off his diaper when he needed to poop so we thought he was ready to start potty training. He went a few times but when I started having him sit on the toilette when he took off his diaper, he started fighting it and now doesn't want to sit on the toilet and hasn't been taking off his diaper. I didn't feel ready for potty training and wasn't sure he was ready so I'm ok with him stopping for a while. He is always putting on people shoes, I think he has tried on everyone of mine and chris's shoes but has just recently started putting on his own then saying "lets go". He won't sit in his highchair anymore and i can tell he likes sitting at the table together for our meals. He is so funny and very smart. His favorite things are juice, candy, tools, trucks, trains, guns, strollers, boots, four wheelers, baths, going out side and books. Below I have posted some recent pictures of him helping, trying on my church boots, and one today of him in his boots he put on to go with dad. I told him he needed pants too not just boots.
