My Dad's Funeral

My father died March 16, 2011. Craig and I made a fast trip to Utah. It was a long drive but always glad to see everyone. I will miss my dad but know he is much happier. He has been down for a while. Now he can see, hear and run. He loved life and loved to make everyone smile. I gave the family prayer. Curtis Rawlings, LaNae, and Scott Jenson said prayers. Symony and Valerie told the life sketch. Irene, Beth, and Arvona spoke. Songs were sung by the Hospice Chaplin Dan Judd, who sang, "We Know That Our Redeemer Lives." Shirley and her two daughters sang, "I Stand All Amazed," and Doug Bird sang, "That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine." Everything was very nice.

See who you recognized, and if you know names. I kept testing Travis and he knew more people than I thought.

Visitors

Our most recent visitors have been Sid and my sisiter LaNae. It was so good to have them come. The favorites were the sun, going to the swap meet, playing games and visiting. Everyone (Craig) was a good sport, and no one stomped off mad. It was so fun!!! Come again!

Our hike in the cactus

Then near the end of January Irene flew down and visited. I was excited that she stayed with us. We again had a good visit, shopped, and played games. She taught us a card game called 5 crowns which is now our fun game.
Helena and Paris

Brody had his 3rd birthday party the end of January. He was very excited, and we all had a good time.

Then for Thanksgiving Sym, Josh, and kids visited. I know, I am really far behind. What a good time. It is real nice for me to have the girls like grandma the best.
