Trip to San Deigo

Well our trip finally come with everyone coming except Travis, Shandi, and Chase. Hopefully next time they will join us. We spent a lot of time in the spa and a little less in the pool. The home we rented was very secluded with a beautiful yard.

Sym with Cheyane, Kaleb, Gavin and Remi
Gavin wanted me to take pictures of him, Josh, Braydan and Kaleb jumping so here they are.
Getting ready!

Jump!

Splash!

What about Kaleb?

Kaleb jumped first the next time to make sure he got in the pool.

I have no pictures of Helena and little of Brody so here is Chris to show the Parkers were there besides Gavin. This is Paris crying. She wasn't feeling well most of the time.

Brody wasn't feeling well part of the time and Craig wasn't ever feeling well which is normal for him, but he was a good sport and was with us alot.

Grandkids

Cheyane, Eliza, Remi, Kaleb, Gavin, and Brody.
We all went to Legoland, but I didn't take my camra so check my children's blog for that day. I think I am first to blog for once.

Going to Sea World

Jessica, Braydan, and Eliza

We loved all the animals. The park was not as busy and it was a wonderful day. Parkers didn't go because they have been to Sea World alot. Craig stayed home also.

The Dolphin show

We hurried and saw all the shows. My favorite was the pirate 4D show. I laughed and screamed so much. Eliza did well until the bees came. It was crazy.

Oceanside Beach

Gavin
Everyone spent the last day at the beach. We had a couple of cold days but the rest were nice.

Kaled

Remi

We hunted for shells. Tried not to get hit by the waves. Eat in Ruby's Restaurant at the end of the pier. And Braydan, Sym and even I went on a boogy board.

My favorite part of the trip was . . . The excitment of preparing, Seeing everyone there. Our family home evening. Everyone helping with the meals, with the clean-up, and with the kids. Game nights which I was to tired to stay up for all of them, but loved the ones I was at. Forgiveness-After getting hurt crying but afterwards holding hands, and bad attitude with not winning a game and knowing when to stop playing a certain game. Just being together. And last-Arriving home to quiet.

Thanks for all your help and making the trip so fun!!

Words from Craig: Hi

I guess I had better write more than that. Despite how I thought I would hold up, I'm glad I went and had loads of fun. It was great seeing all the grandkids. They are all so darling. They have their own very distinct personalities already forming. Loved always seeing their smiling faces. Hard to not keep a smile on your face when you see the children having so much fun. With all those little children their are going to be issues which have to be dealt with from time to time. Too, even with adults we forget how different we all can be. But, hopefully maturity helps settle our disputes. Children forget their disruptions in 5 minutes. How wonderful is that. Hopefully, all of us can say we had a lot of fun. Thanks for being patient with me. I can't keep up which is very frustrating to me, but I can say I'm sure glad I came along for the ride. I had a wonderful time.

Weather in Arizona

This makes Craig happy by him saving money. The last 3 weeks seem hotter than the whole summer. Don't worry Craig turns the air on before I get home to the low of 83 at times. Actually I have not been as hot this summer. My blood must be thinning. This morning we opened the windows and I went for a walk. Yea!! I can't wait for our wonderful weather and hopefully some visitors.

This happen today Sept 10th, 2011. Who would have thought that we would have hail in September with the temperature 86*. I called Chris to see if it hailed at their home. It did. CRAZY!!!

My Dad's Funeral

My father died March 16, 2011. Craig and I made a fast trip to Utah. It was a long drive but always glad to see everyone. I will miss my dad but know he is much happier. He has been down for a while. Now he can see, hear and run. He loved life and loved to make everyone smile. I gave the family prayer. Curtis Rawlings, LaNae, and Scott Jenson said prayers. Symony and Valerie told the life sketch. Irene, Beth, and Arvona spoke. Songs were sung by the Hospice Chaplin Dan Judd, who sang, "We Know That Our Redeemer Lives." Shirley and her two daughters sang, "I Stand All Amazed," and Doug Bird sang, "That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine." Everything was very nice.

See who you recognized, and if you know names. I kept testing Travis and he knew more people than I thought.

Visitors

Our most recent visitors have been Sid and my sisiter LaNae. It was so good to have them come. The favorites were the sun, going to the swap meet, playing games and visiting. Everyone (Craig) was a good sport, and no one stomped off mad. It was so fun!!! Come again!

Our hike in the cactus

Then near the end of January Irene flew down and visited. I was excited that she stayed with us. We again had a good visit, shopped, and played games. She taught us a card game called 5 crowns which is now our fun game.
Helena and Paris

Brody had his 3rd birthday party the end of January. He was very excited, and we all had a good time.

Then for Thanksgiving Sym, Josh, and kids visited. I know, I am really far behind. What a good time. It is real nice for me to have the girls like grandma the best.
