Here is my 2010 Wasatch buck. In July we named him the "Backside Buck" because he would only show us his backside in the scouting videos. He was hanging out with the much bigger "Match Buck" for most of the summer. Opening morning I hit the "Match Buck" in the neck but he survived it. As for this one, I just ran a tape on him the other day and it looks like he'll settle in somewhere around 31" wide! This is my sixth archery buck i've killed and my best buck yet.

Looks like the "Match Buck" survived to see another year. Here he is on one of our salt licks in July. This photo is still a little early, but I'm guessing that he'll grow to be a 6x8 and score 205" this year.

Dad never posted a picture of his 2009 Wasatch buck so I'm doing it for him. This buck gross scored 180". Wow!

A buddy and I ran out behind our building for some lunchtime fishing. All together we saw three fish. I got the first shot and I made it count. They're not spawning yet, but it'll be even funner when they are.

Micah's 2009 Turkey
Dad and I decided to run up and go turkey hunting last Friday, we ended up doing it spot-n-stalk style because the birds didn't respond to any of our calls. I decided to use the shotgun because I figured that I wouldn't have too much time to go hunting with Liv being sick and all. Plus Jaron will be home soon and I want to try and help him get one. After a lengthy stalk and a little bit of belly crawling, we had the birds within range. The first red head that I saw, I pulled the trigger. Liv cooked it up for dinner that night and it was the best tasting turkey I've ever had.

The bottom target is mine. This is my first three shots in Vegas and they are probably my best. Unfortunately this was on the warm-up round. Overall if compared against everybody in every division I did pretty well. But I was about in the middle of the pack for my division.

Craig's Dall Sheep, Keni Mountains, Alaska
One hundred fifty miles on horseback. Ten miles and three days hiking.......the reward?....an eight year old full curl Alaska Dall sheep ram. Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the number of moments that take your breath away. This was one of many with more to come.

This is a picture of Liv and I at deer camp in 2007. We had a fun hunt last year and I hope to get her back out there this year.

My dad recently gave me some access to photos that I'm not even sure if I've ever seen. This is a picture of my first buck, it was an archery kill at 30 yards when I was fifteen.
