J.D. is so good at saying his prayers. Every night he says them and he can almost say them by himself. We say the beginning of the sentence and he finishes. We say, "Please bless us" and J.D. will finish "to sleep good". He will repeat this over and over again everytime we say "please bless us". It is the cutest thing ever. He is such a sweet boy. Jordan just loves to be around him. J.D. was jumping in the tub and Jordan was laughing so hard he got the hiccups. Jordan was trying to jump like his big bro too. They are so cute. J.D. has a hard time sharing sometimes. Poor Jordan, everything fun is J.D.'s and he rips it out of Jordan's hands as soon as he gets a hold of it. We are working on sharing. He shares great with other kids his age, but when it comes to Jordan it is a different story. JD and Carson are running around the house singing the song "I wanna be a Rock Star!" Funny boys.

JAYDEE
WE FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS NOT A TUMOR THAT J.D. HAD. WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS A TUMOR WAS ACTUALLY HIS BRAIN.KIND OF CRAZY. HIS SKULL DIDN'T CLOSE ALL THE WAY AND HIS BRAIN GREW THROUGH THE HOLE AND INTO HIS EAR. IT RUINED HIS BONE IN HIS EAR AND HIS NERVES ARE EXPOSED AND SOME OF THEM ARE DAMAGED. HIS HEARING NERVE WE KNOW FOR SURE IS DAMAGED. HE MOST LIKELY WON'T HAVE ANY HEARING OUT OF THAT EAR. RIGHT NOW HE HAS SOME HEARING. DURING SURGERY, DEPENDING ON HOW BAD THINGS ARE, THEY MAY CLOSE HIS EAR TOTALLY OFF AND THERE WILL BE NO CHANCE OF ANY HEARING. I HOPE THAT IS NOT THE CASE. BUT, THE DOC SAID THAT HE WILL BE FINE WITHOUT HEARING IN THAT EAR, WE JUST HAVE TO BE CAREFUL WIH THE HEARING IN HIS LEFT EAR. THE SURGERY WILL HAVE A LOT OF RECONSTRUCTION WORK AND HIS NERVES ARE A BIG CONCERN. THE BIGGEST CONCERN IS HIS FACIAL NERVE WHICH CONTROLS FACIAL MOVEMENTS AND OPEN AND CLOSING HIS EYES. HOPEFULLY, THERE WILL NOT BE ANY PERMANENT DAMAGE THERE. SURGERY WILL HOPEFULL BE NEXT FRIDAY, WE ARE NOT SURE YET AND WE THINK IT WILL BE AT PRIMARY CHILDREN'S, IF NOT IT WILL BE AT U OF U HOSPITAL. J.D. IS FINE. IN HIS PRAYERS, HE PRAYS THAT HIS DOCTORS WILL MAKE HIS EARS BETTER. IT MAKES ME SAD CUZ I KEPT TELLING HIM THEY WER GOING TO FIX IT SO HE COULD HEAR OUT OF HIS EAR AGAIN. HE WAS EXCITED ABOUT THAT AND NOW THAT MIGHT NOT BE POSSIBLE. BUT HE WILL BE FINE. THE DOCOTRS ARE REALLY GOOD. WE HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE PRAYING FOR HIM AND THAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. THANK YOU FAM AND FRIENDS! KEEP YA POSTED ON THE NEWEST.

We found out last Thursday that J.D. has a benign tumor. He has had a lot of ear problems for as long as I can remember and he lost his hearing out of his right ear about a year ago. We have been trying to get it figured out and he had his tubes removed a few months back and the Doc saw this thing that looked like an infection and he took a piece and had it biopsied and it came back normal. We finally had a CT scan done last Thursday and that is when we found out that he has a tumor that is deep in his ear and has eroded part of his skull base. We go to Primary Children's on Friday and get an MRI done and probably a lot more tests to see what is going on and how they will treat it. J.D. has no idea what is going on. He just sees that mom cries a lot lately and he gives me lot's of hugs and kisses and tells me he loves me all the time. He is such a sweet boy. I told him yesterday that we would get his ear fixed so he can hear out of it and he got so excited. It really frustrates him that he can't hear out of that ear. When we find out more, I will post the latest news.
These are sting-rays at an amusement park. We were surrounded by three of these things at the beach next to the condo we stayed at. The sting-rays were three times this size and Josh almost stepped on one. A storm was coming in, so it was hard to see, lot's of sand. The sand comes right on top of the sting-rays and you can barely see them. Luckily, I was looking under the water at the time Josh was walking backwards and there was a huge one right behind him. I started screaming. He couldnt hear me under the water. I got up and was yelling and he didn't believe me, He thought I was kidding. Our other friend Josh saw it too. It was fun and scary at the same time.
Our Mexico trip. These are our friends, Jeanne
and Josh Moore.
Just having fun at a restaurant in Playa Del Carmen. Looks like Josh and a few too many! j/k We would never do that! It is non-alchoholic (don't worry mom)!! We had a lot of fun and the boys had a lot of fun with Grandma and Grandpa Martinez and Grandma and Grandpa Cluff. The Cluff's took them to the zoo for the first time. I don't think they missed us at all. As long as Jordan has food, He is happy.
