Which Disney Princess Are You?

I always knew I was a princess! I am so happy that I am Cinderella, I always thought she was the prettiest one of them all. I do have to say I have a lot of patience especially waiting for Emmie and now the 3 retarded dogs. I know my dreams will come true now, thanks to Tiffani for letting my take this quiz. Mom and Dad you were right, I am the prettiest princess of the family!!

Fun at the Water Park

**We decided to go to the water park to let some kids run off some energy and have fun at the same time. We had so much fun. Emmie didnt like to go in the water so much. It was fun to be in the water but fun to get out at the same time. These pictures tell a great story of what went on at the water park

This is Payton trying to get his brother Porter wet.

While on the other side this is Porter trying to push the sensor to make his gun work to fight back. Asking questions all day as he goes!!! and keeps asking until you answer it!!!

Payton thought Emmie looked to dry so he helped her out.

She loved it can you tell?

Finally Emmie escapes and rushes over to the bench for saftey!

Payton and Porter are fighting over the guns. Who is going to win?

Check out those legs. ooo da laa lee

Emmie loves her cousins. I dont know what we are going to do when we wont have the Calico boys around to play with all the time.

After a long day at the park this is what happened after ward. Callie loves those boys. I think she should go and live with them at their new house. I think they would love to replace a few things as she lived there. Think about it Misti, the offer is out there. Tempting isn't it?!?!

Aint That a Peach

Emmie has found a new favorite thing. She loves to go out back and pick a peach from the tree or one that has fallen on the ground and eat it. I caught her today sitting and sharing her peach with Callie and Boomer. This is Peach number 3 she had picked and eaten. She loves peaches!!

MMMMM Yummy Peach!!
This is Emmies sad birthday cake. I tried to make it look cute but I am not a cake decorator I have decided! We celebrated her birthday on the 24th because we were gone on her birthday. She wanted to see her cousins and aunts and uncles so we had dinner and cake and ice cream. Here are some pictures that we took that night!Emmie waiting to blow out her candle on her cake

Nauvoo

Swinging as a family on the last day of vacation!Emmie glistening in the trees
Emmies First Birthday!
Cutest Pioneer Ever!
Family pack playing in the half hour rain storm

So here is a movie of everything we did out in Nauvoo. It was so much fun! We left on July 11th and thanks to our cousin Jeremy he gave us buddy passes to fly. So we flew out of St. George to Salt Lake, waited there for 6 hours or so then caught a flight out to Kansas City. We then drove all night to get to Grandma and Grandpa Tureks house. We finally arrived there at 3:30 am. It was a long night. Emmie did so good traveling and she slept the whole time on both plane rides. We visited alot of sites and shows. We went to the pagent a couple of times. We learned alot about the pioneers and what they went through. I am sure glad I live in the days now and I wasnt a pioneer. The Lord knew what he was doing when he sent me to earth when he did.
We had a wonderful time visiting with my parents. They are such wonderful people and they did treat us great. I think I gained 5 pounds while out on vacation because of moms wonderful cooking. I have missed my moms homeade cookin'. Well the movie pretty much tells what we did so I wont bore you. The trip home was a kick though. We decided to leave on saturday the 19th instead of Sunday the 20th. The flight looked better on saturday so we risked it. Well Emmie and I got on the plane and had to leave Dave in Kansas all by himself. He had some cousins that lived 1 1/2 hrs. away that came and picked him up and let him stay with them for the night. I got stuck in Salt Lake so I called my sister Trudi to come and save us. She was so kind and let us bombard her house. She also took me to Walmart to get a few things like diapers and formula that was needed. All of our luggage was sent to Saint George so we had nothing. I wore the same clothes for 2 days and man did I stink. luckily Trudi had some clothes for Emmie to where. The next day Dave missed the first flight then the second also, so he just bought a ticket instead. He was tired of sitting and waiting. He wasn't going to get on until Tuesday if he didn't buy a ticket. He arrived in SLC at 5:30 we picked him up and we drove Kory and Tiffani's new car to them. Thank goodness they had a car to take. Nauvoo always has a great ending to it. It somehow ends up costing us a little more than planed and it always ends up at Sundance where my brother Rick works picking up a car to get home. Great memories. We sure know how to have some fun times!!

Adventurous Month

So it had been a very long time since I have bloged so I will try to catch you up as best as I can. I will do another blog about our trip to Nauvoo. I have quite a few cute pictures that I will have to try to fit in. So first of July I had girls camp. It was lots of fun.
Here is a picture of our girls and their cute camo attire.
Then it was the 4th of July. Dave, Emmie and I took Aunt Ada to breakfast at the park and we had a great time. This is Dave and Emmie riding the cow train at the park. She loved to ride that bull. Dave was wishing that it was a real bull.
Then I tried to get Emmie to race. She couldn't really walk that great at that time so I thought she would do great in the crawlers race. Well the horn blew and Emmie just watched the guy that blew that loud obnoxious noise. She didn't want to crawl to her dad at all. So here is a picture of her crying because we thought that if Dave encouraged her to come to him with his cell phone she would come. Well that just made her mad that she couldn't get the phone. She was still cute anyway.
Then on the 5th of July her birth mom, Tiffany, came to visit for the weekend. We were going to be gone on Emmies birthday so she wanted to come and see her before she turned one. It was great to have her visit. Hopefully it wasn't to boring for her.
So here is Tiffany with Emmie!

So that sums it up until Nauvoo. We went Nauvoo on the 11th of July and we had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa Turek. I will blog about that one next which will probably display on my page first which is ok. Anyway let just say this month has been fun and adventurous! This is Emmie at the airport in SLC waiting for any flight that would take us!

Happy Fathers Day!

Today is Fathers Day and I wanted to let my dad know how much I love him. I decided to do a tribute to him and remember all the great things about my dad!
FAVORITE SAYINGS:
Were you raised in a barn?
Hello?!!?
Hide the bread!!!
I love you!
You are my favorite daughter Kandice! ( Ok he never has said that, but it sure sounds good!)

FAVORITE MEMORIES:
*When Misti was changing her oil and it spilled all over the place and at the same time I was putting up my awesome pool and it flooded the shed while my dad was in between it all and man you could see the smoke and fumes coming out his ears. Aint girls fun Dad!
*When I would come and do the "universal" and jump on his bed.
*When he would take us to the school and play on the scooters and then take us in the library. I thought it was so cool to be in the Bloomington school.
*Bringing him home messed up milk shakes from Charlies and eating them together at 11:00 pm.
*Watching him rototill the garden while I sit and eat a Popsicle.
*Having him help me with my homework especially math and I hated it!
*When Dad was put in the St. George temple presidency and he was able to seal Dave and I together.
*When I got to see him for 7 hours in Nauvoo before we had to leave to pick up Emmie
*When he was able to come home and seal Emmie to Dave and I. That was such a neat experience.
These are just a few of my favorites about my dad that I love! Thanks for being such a wonderful Dad. You have always been there for me. You are the best! I love you lots and lots!

Dave:
What a great dad he is to Emmie. It is so much fun to see what a great dad he is. He loves to give Emmie horsey back rides and loves to dance with her. He teaches her Spanish and English. Thank goodness he is a teacher! He is a great teacher and husband. I love him tons and tons!

Daves dad:
What a great man he is. He loves his grandchildren and children. He will do anything for anyone. He loves his mini farm or at least loves it when his grandkids or children come and ride his horses and milk the cows. He is a proud Grandpa and Dad! I love you lots also!

To all the Dads or soon to be dads out there, HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

My little pioneer

Dave went on a Pioneer Trek this last weekend. He grew out his hair a little longer than usual and grew a full beard just for the trek. On Wednesday he left for Fredonia to get his horses and cows and then on Thursday he headed up to Enterprise to meet the youth in our stake for their youth conference. He said that it was great except thy were really short on food. On Thursday after taking care of the horses he went to get some food and it was all gone. So to bed he went on an empty stomach. He taught the kids how to milk a cow and he also got to be the mail deliverer on his horse. I guess they really got to experience what the pioneers really felt like. I am sure glad that I wasn't a pioneer back then. It is nice to have my husband back again and him looking like him self again. (I am sure the cows and horses were glad to be back home as well.) We cut Dave's hair and he shaved his face bald. He looks like a totally different guy. What a great man Dave is and I am glad he is my husband. High five to Dave, oh, and i guess a kiss too!!!

This before he left for the trek

This is the day he got home

What he looks like now!!
