Outing with Cheryl, Hai Bee, June, Michelle and Gabriel

Its the last month of the year and many of my friends are back from overseas... And of course is time to reunite! Michelle and Hai Bee invited me for a lunch outing at Pyramid along with June and Cheryl; and boy it was so much craziness and fun haha...

The day started off with Cheryl willingly to drive me there coz she says that she loves to drive wo haha.. She drove her brother's car which is a Honda and its so nice!!! Whole journey to Pyramid i was exploring her car haha... We reach there slightly late so Michelle says to Cheryl on the phone that if we don find them in 15 minutes or so we got to pay for the meal later... So Cheryl quickly drag me asking me where is Flipflop soon after Michelle said she was at Flip Flops... Haha... Thank God we reach there in time else die lo... :p

Then i suggested to have lunch at Gasoline and luckily the enjoyed the meal alot there and actually ordered quite a lot of food for five gals... We ate Black Pepper Udon, XO Fried Rice, Some fried balls called something bomb, Sacha Lamb Chop, Baked Chese Chicken Chop and fried mushrooms.. As for drinks i shared a cup of Chocolate Shake with Cheryl while Michelle ordered a drink called Tarzan that is made of Chocolate and Banana while June ordered Strawberry Shake... Michelle is having a bad throat but still drinks ice blended like superwoman! She finished her drink before u know it and is hunting for other ppl drink... Haha i have to jaga my drink coz once i moved away my attention just for a sec, my drink will b in her hands and mouth haha :p

It was alot of fun and we were talking so much and laughing so hard that the whole restaurant is so noisy coz of us... But it was really really fun and too bad that they got to leave not long after our lunch session... Hope i get to see them real soon again as i am really gona miss them :)

Then it was a small lil outing with Gabriel...We went and watch Bolt and it was a pretty nice show ... I can hear Gabriel laughing pretty loud and non-stop haha.. Glad he enjoyed it coz he was pretty stressed up over work... Then we went and had Jap ice-cream .. He ordered strawberry flavour and while i had green tea... Green tea was pretty bitter but after a few licks i got used to it and started to enjoy it :) Oh yea movie and ice-cream were all on Gabriel.. Thank you so so much!!! :) Then we went shopping a lil for Gabriel's clothes after a few fitting sessions, we finally found 2 shirts which are not only cheap but nice too :)

Then, "someone" called and later came to fetch me home... Its a nice day overall all thanks to Cheryl, June, Michelle, Hai Bee, Gabriel and "someone".... The day was truly an amazing and fun day for me :) Thank you once again!!! :)

Cervical Cancer Campaign

Sunday, 7 Dec 2008 was the day where MCA collaborated with a health association society and brought us the Cervical Cancer and family health campaign :)They give us a rate which is much more cheaper than usual by a few hundreds for the cervical cancer vaccine. I knew about this threw Cheryl as her mom is part of MCA :) She was kind enough to share this information with me and i told this event to my dad. This vaccine needs to be injected three times over three periods and the total cost is only RM 960 as compared to the normal price that is at least RM 1000...

My dad then suggested that me and my two sisters should take the injection and so i told Cheryl that me and my sisters would like to go for it and Cheryl helped us to sign up. The campaign was held in Taman Danau Kota, Wangsa Maju, Setapak , KL. A place which me and my dad has no clue of and therefore it took us an hour or more just to locate the place after many stops asking for directions and help haha....

When we arrived at the place, my youngest sister started to panic as she was terrified of the injection. I was pretty afraid myself but try to tell myself its nothing :) We went and register ourselves and soon after that we went for a consultation first just to ensure that we know what we are taking and also for the doctors to check if we are alright to take the shots with a question and answering session with the doctor. She was pretty friendly and funny at the same time and even tease Cheryl saying that she's our mother haha... We all laughed pretty loud!

The after that we proceed to the injection room and waited for our turns. My youngest sister went in first and almost burst out in tears the moment she enters the room, luckily she din cry and out of my surprise she came out and said its not painful at all haha... So it was kinda nice in a way coz she calmed me down a lil with that.. But soon enough i found out! Ah its pretty painful... The doctor tried to shift my attention by asking me questions but i just cant seem to get my mind of but to still feel the pinch haha... Dad was so evil pinching my other hand saying he is trying to make me numb..Sheesh.. Then lastly was my last sister's turn...

After the shot we went and have a few health checkups... Checked our BMI, blood pressure, blood sugar :) A lady actually came and asked me if i wana go for pap smear as she thought i am either married or is sexually active... Er... haha... I told her i am not and she just said sorry and walked away haha... Luckily i am not overweight or anything, and everything turns out to b normal...Same goes for my youngest sister. But my second sister was found to be severely underweight thus was advice to put on at least 9 KG...!!! She is so thin that she is the record holder for the thinest gal for that day...

Well, the injection's pain still did not subside after a day and only subside after 2 days... We would need to return back to the same place for the second and third shot on the february 15th and June... But its for a god cost so i think its worthwhile after all since cervical cancer is known to be the second most dangerous cancer to women... :)

Thanks Cheryl for letting me know about this campaign and i also truly appreciate your mom's kindness :) Thanks so so so much...

Adam Gyorgy

28 Novemeber 2008 at Wisma Bently of Music at Damansara near The Curve were the place for the Hungarian Dance piano recital by Adam Gyorgy a talented young man who is only 26 years old :) The ticket was RM 30 per person but the tickets ran out so quickly that i din manage to purchase it... :(

My music friends are all so keen on watching the recital... Jing Xuan which is the Clarinet teacher a graduate in Clarinet major from UM manage to find a way for us to go for the recital without paying for the ticket however the plan failed as there were simply to many people who attended the recital which jam packed the whole auditorium... Thus we (me, Pei Mun and Darren) were there to watch the recital but failed to get into the hall ... How sad huh? Jing Xuan was not able to attend due to some last minute pop up event that she has to attend ... So we had a change of plans and walked to the Curve for a shopping fiesta... There were Christmas deco all over the entrace of the curve and it was so beautiful and filled with colours!!! Thus, we took pics all over there haha... :)

We stopped by at body shop as Pei Mun wants to get lip balm, which is my first time stepping into body shop... GOsh those products arent cheap haha... Poor ppl like me just cant afford! But i did play around with the sample products there.. I put papaya lotion on my hand and eww i hate papaya... hahaha... Then we went walking around at the Christmas Street Mall and i got myself a few hair band :) Then we went and had donut !!!

After donut session, we were ready to go home but the wheather was not on our side... It started rainning so heavily that we could not walk back to Wisma Bently and was stuck at the Curve til about 10.40pm and the rain just didnt stop so we walked to Tesco and purchase an umbrella... The cashier was laughing also when we were there buying just an umbrella haha..Only by 11pm or so only we were able to reach back to our car ...

Though we failed to watch the piano recital and end up wasting money to buy an umbrella... But it was a fun experience also in a nutshell :) Cant wait to watch MPO next month!!!

Disney's Festive Fun-Tasy !!!

Today me, Adrian, Kayson and Kelvin (did i spell it right?) hehe... went to Ara Damansara for the Festive Fun-tasy event!!! Its the best outing i ever had after a long time!!! I think i have never laughed so loud before for quite some time.... They are so silly and hilarious!!! Cant stop laughing when your around them... Feels relax and fun lo...

Well it all startted with Adrian picking me up .. He gave me a book he got fomr Singapore during his Asian Conference.. How sweet of him ... I love the writing inside the book by the Author coz my name is there!!! Feels very personalised hehe...And i gave him a pen as his birthday pressie.. Hope he likes it lo...Then he went and pick up Kayson and Kelvin at Kayson's place... At first on the way to Ara Damansara, the atmosphere in the car was kinda odd with everyone feeling still not so comfortable and a lil shy especially Kelvin haha... Plus, no one knows how to get to the place... All kinda odd but funny still...Finally, after few wrong turnings and roads, Adrian called his sis to ask the way and thank God we reached a plce with signs all over on how to go to the place we are heading to..

Finally we have arrive and the place is beautiful!!! Lotsa lights!!! Its beautiful and though the are not many shops but its quite alright as the shops there are selling things that u hardly see in other places... Cute decos and lotsa other things... Even the restaurant there is beautiful, we went to a Kopitiam for dinner..Though the food is not that awesome but the restaurant is as it has few floors and balkoni .. We ate at the second floor's balkoni...Quite nice lo can see views and Adrian saw superman on a mini skooter and a spiderman when he rushed his way to the toilet right after we arrive at the Kopitiam haha... Nature calls..

After dinner, we wanted to go see the exhibition of Disney characters lanterns but due to the rain we hang around the shops .. During that time, Adrian got me a nice red shirt as BIrthday pressie!!! How nice of him!!! Aww...We hang out at the shops for quite some time while waiting for the rain to go off but the rain just did not stop... We could not help it so just went it and got all soaky wet haha... But its worth it.. Its beautiful... Though there arent many on exhibit but its enough to amaze u! We went it and took lotsa pics !!! The entrance fee is RM 10 per person and the RM 10 will be our token that we can use in the fair... Either, buy umbrella, cup or any other Disney merchandises... Theres four of us.. We use 2 of the voucher to take a nice pic and the other 2 we bought cup with chipmunks pic on it.. CUTE!!!

Along with the purchase of the cup, came along 3 fun fair vouchers for each cup... So we have a total of 6 fun fair vouchers where we can play games to win prizes... We played quite crazily!!! Kayson and Adrian kept trying to electify the staff there to give them more chances to play!!! Kayson manage to "electify" a gal staff there and made her give him a lil Pooh address book though he lost the game... Later, Kayson ask the gal to take a pic together with him but got rejected badly.. Gosh it hurts haha!!!

We were all soaky wet after all that and decided its time to leave... Luckily we manage to find our way home :) It was definitely an amazing outing!!! And definitely worth being written down in this lil blog of mine...

Thank you Adrian, Kayson and Kelvin for an unforgettable day! :)

My first blog after a long time...

Hmm... Just thought of blogging coz quite bored recently haha...And also wanted a place to write what i am thinking and feeling..I used to blog last time and stopped doing so coz assignments itself is taking a toll on typing so kinda made me lazy to blog haha... Big fat lazy me ..

Oh well, i shall start by updating a lil on wat my life has been. I have stopped studying for one sem and i honestly miss school badly ... Not the assignments but my schoolmates!!! I miss all the time to hang out together and am afraid that i might lose all my friends... Taryn, Melissa, Laura, Cassandra, Michelle are those people that i firstly got so close with at my very first moments at Monash... I truly appreciate these friends and honestly i miss them alot!!! Though there's been harsh moments that kinda made our friendship less tighter but i really hope we can be like how we were last time and hang out alot alot more often!!! Gosh i miss everyone!

Well its officially Monash hols now and many are all enjoying their hols while some are working... Many asked me why am i not working, well i am not allowed to due to my medical condition. So i do some light work by teaching piano!!! hehe.. I would be teaching beginners piano now!!! Thats fun for me and not work hehe..And i have started flute for about 5 months and currently in Grade 2 d... I truly love flute and have been wanting to learn it since ages...My sis would be taking up Cello lesson real soon!!! How exciting! if i had a choice or had more time, i would wana learn more instruments!!! I just love pursuing music...

So besides from that, i am doing some planning for next year's MBC events and hopefully it will be fruitful... But wat i really cant wait is to return back to uni and meet everyone.!!!! Hopefully they stil remember me ... Since i have been sesat or MIA for almost half a year or more...
