Spencer's Four Month Pictures

My sister in law took Spencer's pictures while we were out there. I guess they are technically his blessing pictures, but we'll call them his four month pictures as well. I love how they turned out. My mom got him this hat and I love it! I love his squishy little cheeks! I love his big brown eyes. I just love everything about my little man!

Mom...What are you doing to me?!
I had to put this in. Look at that dimple!

He is constantly putting something in his mouth. This blanket being his favorite thing to suck on.
Thanks for doing these Jana! I love them!

Blessing Day

While we were in Utah we decided to bless Spencer. Normally we like to bless our babies around the two month mark, but none of our family would have been in the circle if we had done that with Spencer. So, at four months at 18 lbs we squeezed him into a blessing outfit and blessed him at my parent's ward. It was very well attended. The men in the circle were Rob, my dad, Rob's dad, Zach, Casey, Phil (Kassi's fiance), Adam, Corry, Joey, and Tyler. Rob did a wonderful job. I am so grateful that he is able and worthy to hold the priesthood.

Our family.

Parade!

One of the reasons that I chose to go to Utah at the time that I do is so that my kids can participate in Lehi Round Up days. I loved going to the parades (all three of them!), the rodeo and the fun little carnival at the park. I don't want my kids to miss out on that, so we make sure we are in Utah near the end of June. Also, the 4th of July is the pits in Kentucky. No one knows how to celebrate freedom like the state of Utah!
Anyway, the girls had a blast at the parade. They were able to meet the Lehi royalty.

The group of us at the parade.
My "bestie" Sheralyn even came and endured the parade with us. Love it!

Cereal...Yum!

At Spencer's four month visit the Dr informed me that if Spencer seemed interested in our food, to go ahead and start giving him rice cereal. Well, he is definitely interested in food. He will follow the spoon or fork into our mouths. He tries to grab our food. In fact, I'm pretty sure he has food envy. So, while we were in Utah we decided to give rice cereal a try. He loved it!

Love my little (not so much) man!

Father's Day

We had a great Father's day and spoiled our dad immensely! The girls made this sign for him a couple of days before and insisted that I put it up first thing in the morning.
 I think he appreciated it!
Happy Father's day Rob. We love you and are so grateful for the dad that you are!
