Making Rolls

Rob taught the girls how to roll out rolls. They had a great time. They love hanging out with their dad. Sara used it as a telephone. She's got an imagination!

The Ohio River

We took Grandpa and Grandma down to check out the Ohio River. The girls love going down and trying to skip rocks.

Rob and I are trying to take more pictures of us together.
The water was so high at some point that things were stuck in the branches of this tree. Anna was trying to get it out.
Sara kept insisting that Rob throw sticks in the river.

Off to the Races!

We had heard that other than the Derby it is relatively cheap to go to Churchill Downs to the races. We heard correctly. Rob and I were $3, the girls were free and my in laws were only $1. Cheap and fun! The girls had a blast! We pretended to bet and chose our horses. My father in law looked at the stats, the girls based theirs on color and I based it on names. My father in law ended up 4 out of 5 and I won the last one!
Our group!One of the races!
Me and my Sara!

This jockey has won three Derby's. He's pretty famous. Funny thing, he took last place in the race he did today!
Anna was scoping out the scene.
Father and son.
Grandma and Anna. We tried to get a picture with Anna and her eyes open.
Grandma pried them open.
Anna then took mine and Rob's picture. Isn't he cute!
Grandpa and Grandma!
Spooky Anna!
This bugler came out and played every time a new race started.
Sara got a little bored!
At the last race I finally picked the winner. Number 2!

They already changed the jersey on the jockey to match the new winner of the Derby.

Emilee's Birthday

It was my friend Emilee's birthday and her mom paid for all of us to go out for her birthday. We had a great time! My friends are awesome!

Rhonda's Celebration!

My dear friend Rhonda is getting ready to have a baby. She didn't want a baby shower so we threw her a celebration instead. It was a lot of fun! I have some crazy friends!

We laughed when we saw Lisa sitting next to Darla...I don't think they could be any different in looks!

Anna's Preschool Program

Anna's preschool program, "A Rumble in the Jungle". They all did such a great job. Anna was a leopard. My sweet Anna...all ready to start Kindergarten!

Traveling

Our girls did so great on the airplanes and the airports. Especially considering they did not get a lot of sleep the entire time we were in Utah.
I think Rob's I-Pad is one of the reasons why.
This is how we got Sara through the airport. So much easier than trying to get her to walk.
Anna thought her backpack was a little too heavy!
My plan was to have Rob sit by Sara. Anna foiled it by insisting on sitting by dad.
Sara was good as long as she had chips.

Saying Goodbye

I hate saying goodbye. Not only is it hard, but my mom always brings out the camera. Here are the girls with the Lehi family. Sara would not look at the camera.
So my dad turned around so she could be in the pictures.
Our cute family.
Sara saying goodbye to Grandpa.
Anna sure loves her Aunt Kassi!
Can you tell we are sisters?
Love my mom and sister!

Cemetery

Since we were not going to be in Utah for Memorial Day we decided to head up to the cemetery to put some stuff on Jason, Ellie and Grace's grave. I love that Anna knows who they are. She talks about them all of the time. It makes my heart happy to know that after I am gone they will not soon be forgotten!I had to get a picture of Timp. Look at all of the snow! It was so cold the entire time we were there.
Sara loving her dad. Sara is not a snuggler so we have to capture the moment every time we see it!

Tyler and Holly's Wedding

We took a quick trip to Utah to attend Rob's brothers, Tyler, wedding. I don't know why but I didn't take any pictures. We had a great time even though it was so cold!
Anna insisted on wearing daddy's suit coat. Then Sara did too.
They had fabulous cupcakes. Sara dived right into the chocolate ones.
