Ponytails!

We have enough hair for pony tails! Doesn't she look so darn cute and so grown up! I love how she poses for the camera. She loves it! She hears the chime of the camera turning on and immediately says "cheese". I sure love that kid!

Tulip Festival

A friend from high school invited us to go to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It ended up being a fairly decent day, weather wise. It really was beautiful out there, but definetly not worth the $16 I had to pay to get me and the girls in. There are other places just as beautiful that don't require any money.
I thought that this made a pretty picture.
Here are the girls in front of the man made waterfalls. Anna was being a little bit of a stinker and wouldn't look at the camera.

Wicked!

Rob and I were able to see "Wicked" last night. I actually saw it about two years ago in Denver and fell in love with the story and the music. I have wanted Rob to see it and when I heard that it was coming to Salt Lake I knew that I wanted to get tickets. I was one of the lucky ones to actually get tickets back in December. Every show sold out immediately. It was a lot of fun to see it again and I think Rob enjoyed himself. He even said that he was willing to listen to the soundtrack with me now!
I have noticed that I don't have a lot of pictures of just Rob and I together, so I made sure we took one that night. And, yes, Rob is shrinking. He has lost almost 30 pounds in the last 5 weeks. Doesn't he look great!

Spring is in the Air!

This is what we woke up to this morning. Keep in mind that it is April!!!! We ended up getting 10 inches last night. The kids are supposed to be enjoying Spring Break. Instead it is more like Christmas break. I took these pictures of my neighborhood. It does look really pretty, but I think I would prefer to have it look like this in December or January. I'm not too worried about global warming.

Doesn't Rob look so happy to be shoveling snow?

My Little Monkey!

Sara has learned to climb. This is driving me crazy! She is constantly unrolling the toilet paper, so I put it up where she supposedly couldn't reach it. She had to prove me wrong. She got Anna's stool, pulled it over to the toilet (thank goodness the lid was down), and then tried to get up on the counter. This is where I found her. What a little monkey!

Forts

Anna has recently discovered the art of building forts. Since then the couch cushions have not stayed on the couch. She calls it her house and insists on bringing her pillow and all of her blankets to take a nap there. She was pretty upset when I wouldn't let her sleep in it at night!

Dobber

I really don't know what the fascination with Dobber is. But apparently, I am the only one that doesn't like him. The rest of the family thinks he is the greatest thing in the whole wide world. Still don't see it!

Happy Easter

I always said that I would never dress my girls the same. I have since changed my mind because they look so cute! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.

Hadfield Easter Party

We had the Hadfield Family Easter party tonight. The rain had subsided enough that we were able to have the Easter Egg hunt outside. The girls were able to find quite a bit of candy.Sara became quite the pro. This time she knew immediately what to do. She saw the eggs and went for them.
Even the ones in the tree.
And here are the three monkeys. We couldn't get all of three of them to stand still at the same time, so this is the best picture we got!

Cloward Easter Party

We had the Cloward Family Easter party today. We didn't let the rain damper our spirits. We had the Easter Egg hunt in the house this year. Anna and Sophie found the massage chair. It was pretty funny to see their little bodies bouncing around in the chair.Sara picked up pretty fast that candy was involved and went full force into finding the eggs.

Anna had a great time as well. I guess she remembered the candy from last year.
Here are the majority of the grand kids. We just keep getting more and more!
I had to post this picture. I told Sara to say cheese and when she said it she made this face. Isn't she the cutest!
My two cute chicks!
Sara found the chocolate immediately and started chowing down!

Coloring Easter Eggs

We decided to color Easter Eggs this year. It is the first time that we have done it since we have been married. Rob makes an excellent dye. Sara was especially excited because she got to sit on a bar stool like a big girl.Anna was excited to start dipping the eggs.

After the eggs had dried we were able to put the princess stickers on.

Even Sara got into the act.
But then she tried to eat the eggs. She had yellow everywhere!

Passover Dinner

My sister-in-law has started a tradition in the Cloward Family. Right before Easter we get together and have Passover Dinner. We try to serve the traditional food of the Passover, the lamb, unleavened bread and other things that I can't remember the name of. We also eat things that are traditional for that time period; cheese, olives, grapes, and lentil soup. we also sit on the floor to eat, but we cheat with the utensils. It's a lot of fun to teach the kids about the last week of Christ's life.
Here is one half of the group.
And the other half.
The four girls enjoying their dinner.
Serving up the food.
Thank you, Merf, for inviting us to join you with this great tradition!

A Visit From Ralph

Lately Sara has been visited by the phantom that Rob calls "Ralph, the Midnight Hairdresser". I just had to post a picture of what awesome hair she has in the morning.

Reunion

I was able to attend a small reunion for my mission tonight. It was a lot of fun. My mission president, who is from Uruguay, was able to attend. He is a member of the 70 and comes to General Conference every April. It was so great to see him. The host even found a bunch of food from Argentina; Bon a bons, alfajores, pan and facturas. It was awesome. I felt a little bad for Rob because there was a lot of Spanish being spoken, but Rob, being the awesome guy that he is, just pretended to understand. Both of my girls loved President Etchegaray, even though they couldn't speak to him. He must have that Grandpa glow about him. Anna insisted on having a picture with him. Here are some of us that showed up.
And here are just the members of the mission; Northway, Headly, Me, Presidente Etchegaray, and King.
Viva La Mac! We are already planning on one for next year when Etchegaray will be back, with his wife. So those of you from the MAC, plan on being in Utah a year from today!

Princess Sara

What can I say...She's just so dang cute!

The Club

WARNING
This post may contain a lot of "Woe is me" information (I'm feeling sorry for myself tonight!).

I'm a member of a club that most people are not aware even exists. It's a club that you don't want to belong to. The dues are high...the loss of a child.

I have been missing my babies a lot lately. Maybe it's because I see Kindergarten registration signs everywhere and I should be registering my three. Maybe it's because I have started reconnecting with a lot of people on Facebook. One of the first questions that they ask is how many children I have and I immediately start a debate in my head. Do I give the answer of 5 when I only have pictures posted of the two girls and then have to go into a lengthy story that brings up a lot of emotion? Do I answer 2 and feel completely guilty for omitting my first three children that I love? I never know how to answer that question. I hate that question. Or maybe it is because a lot of my friends and family members are either announcing that they are pregnant or they are having babies. Even though I am happy for them I am immensely jealous. I'm so baby hungry and I know that if all of my children were alive right now I wouldn't be because, hello, that is 5 kids! I wouldn't be wishing that I was pregnant again and wishing for a son for Rob to have "boys night" with because Jason would be here to do that with him.
I hate that we have to go through so much in order to get children here. I hate that the economy is so crappy right now that we have to start figuring out how to pay to do invitro again. That we have to choose between a vacation or babies. Again, if Jason, Ellie and Grace were still alive we wouldn't have to make this decision.
I know that everyone has their own trials. There are so many people out there that are going through things much more difficult than mine. But right now, I just miss my sweet babies.

April Fools

The jokes on us!
Poor little tulip plants. I hope they survive!
