Daddy's Girls

My girls are such Daddy's Girls. They love it when their dad is home, spending time with them. Anna gets so excited when she hears the garage door because that means Daddy's home. As soon as Sara sees him she crawls over to him and starts to climb up his leg. I love this picture. All three of them have crazy bed head hair. Here they are, the loves of my life.

A Fan is Born!

This post is to make our friend, Ryan, a little jealous. While I was attending and sort of running Super Saturday, Anna and Rob were able to go to the BYU football game. Anna has known for about a week now that her and daddy were going to see the cougars. She has been so excited. So today we got her all dressed up in her white and blue and they were off. They went early and did all of the tailgating stuff. They came home with so stuff, one item of which she is not allowed to play with. Scroll down to see...Anna and Rob were able to meet Ty Detmer and....
Reno Mahe (I don't think I spelled it right!).
And to top the day off, the Cougars killed the Cowboys! What a great day for them. I, on the other hand, didn't finish all of my projects and will now add them to my pile of things to finish one day.

Messy Marvin

I had to snap this picture because Sara was looking so great! She has so much fun when she eats. I gave her a teething biscuit (another fun thing she is going through) and a sippy of water. This is what she ended up looking like. I wish I had taken a picture of the high chair. It was a work of art. She dumped all the water everywhere and then mashed the biscuit up in it. How old is this little girl again? She's so fun! I just love her!
BTW...That is not a Mohawk. Her hair was in a bow, but it had to come out before the muckified that as well!

And she's up!

I have mentioned before, Sara is crawling. She goes from room to room looking for me now. It's cute, except I have no privacy ( not that I had much before). Anyway, Sara and Anna were contently watching cartoons this morning so I thought it would be a good time for me to go into the other room and make our bed. Wrong!!! As soon as I started pulling up the sheets I could hear Sara screaming. This is what I saw when I walked in. She had pulled herself up using the entertainment center and was mad because she couldn't figure out how to get back down. After I pulled her off she started doing it again, this time to the couch. I'm so dreading the next step...walking. How can she be doing this already. She's not even 9 months old!!! Life is about to get a little crazier!

Eight Months!

It's hard to believe that my sweet Sara is already 8 months old. She is getting so big and doing so much! She started crawling on Monday, full blown crawling, not army crawling...She skipped that part. She pulls herself up using furniture and people. She isn't happy unless she is standing. My guess is walking is not too far behind. She is teething but hasn't actually cut any yet. I hope they come through soon because she is a little bit cranky! Oh, and she is constantly saying 'MaMaMaMa". I love those words...just not at 3:30 in the morning! But she is just so darn cute! I just love my little sweetheart!!!!

The Fort

Due to regional conference, we were able to get out of church at noon instead of 5:30. It was wonderful!!!!! So, what do we do with all that extra time...have Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Kassi over for dinner and build a fort. Anna received this cranium super fort kit for Christmas last year and it was put to good use today. I don't know why we had to have a kit...we had blankets and cushions growing up.
When Sara woke up she was also allowed to enjoy to fort and Grandpa.

Anna's Artwork

I mentioned in my last post that Anna started school. It is a joy school program where we all take turns teaching. Anyway, when I went to pick up Anna today our friend said that they had a art project and all of the girls seemed overwhelmed with all of the stuff on the table. All they were supposed to do was glue some shapes that were already cut out onto the paper. This is my sweet Anna's design. There was so much glue on the paper that it was sagging from the weight. All the sides of the paper were cut up (the picture doesn't do it justice). Our friend said that all Anna wanted to do was play with the scissors.
Anna was so proud of her picture, so therefore I love it! It is now on the fridge.

First Day of School

Anna had her first day of school yesterday. She was so excited. I hope that the excitement continues through out the years. She did really well and is excited to go again tomorrow. I love the fact that I have two days a week with only one child that can't run away from me yet!
Oh, and as a side note, I started my jazz dance class last night. It is going to be a lot of fun, but there will not be any photos!

Rainy Day!

Anna was so excited to see the rain. Rob was building a workbench in the garage (finally!) and Anna sat and watched the rain for about an hour and a half. I think that is the longest she has ever sat still in her life. I hope it rains some more soon! She was showing me all of the "bags" (flags) on all of the lawns. She thought they were so pretty!
Sara spent the rainy day in her sit and play. It was a wonderfully quiet day for me.
