She's getting so big!!!

After uploading all the pictures that I have taken while Rob was gone, I realized just how big Sara is getting. She is still such a sweet baby. I just love her!
We spent a lot of time at my parent's house while Rob was gone. My dad was so great with the girls. They love their grandpa. He even got Sara to sleep for a little bit. It was great! This is Sara on her 3 month mark. She loves her changing table. We get her on there and she just talks and giggles. She's so much fun!
Anna was trying to teach Sara all of the songs that she knows. This narrows it down to "Wheels on the Bus", "Itsy, Bitsy Spider", "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "Paddy Cake". We really should work on getting some Primary songs in there. (By the way...you gotta love the rolls on that kid!).

Bondfire Fun

Here are a couple of pictures from the bond fire that we had a acouple of weeks ago. Anna didn't want to get to close to the smoke. She really didn't know how to eat a hotdog.
What a mookey face. But hey, she had fun!

Dubai

So, we have been away from blogging for awhile and we really do have a good excuse! Rob has been in Dubai for the last two weeks and took the good computer with him. He returned today and we are so excited to have our daddy home. In fact when Anna saw him at the airport she ran into his arms and started to cry. We miss him! Anyway, for those of you who don't know where Dubai is, it is in the Middle East. No worries...It is safe. Well, they are building these crazy islands over there right now and Rob's company is putting water features in everywhere over there. If you want to see some of the cool things that are going on just Google Dubai. These are some airiel shots of some of the islands that they are building. It's pretty cool.

Spring? Is that really you?

Yay! Spring showed itself today. It was so great. We had a bond fire where we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. Anna made quite the mess of herself. I have a great picture, but I can't get it off the camera. Anna also was able to do her favorite thing...hang out with Grandpa and Grandma and Aunt Kassi and blow bubbles! It was so hard to get her into the house tonight. Hopefully she wore herself out and she will sleep all night! Sara also enjoyed being out in the sun. Unfortunately, it looks as if she has inherited her dad's skin and she burned a little bit. Let's just hope the days continue to get better and better and that Spring is here to stay!

Anna got out of the house today. I didn't realize that she was able to open the doors to the outside yet. Luckily she opened the door to the garage and the garage door was closed, but all of her sidewalk paint was out there. Unfortunately, Dobber was also in the garage and got caught. All I can say is I'm glad it was the dog and not the car!

What month is it?

I have been told that we are in April. When I looked out the window this morning I had a hard time believing it. I'm so ready for spring. Our poor tulips are covered in snow this evening. Hard to believe that this weekend we are supposed to be in the 70's. Rachel and Jen, I hope that you didn't get hit too hard!

The Weekend

The weekend has been crazy. Then again, conference weekend usually is. I was able to catch some of what was said, when I wasn't wrestling a 2-year old. For some reason Anna was more insane than usual. But what I caught was great. I love being able to listen to our prophet.
I caught this picture of Sara when I was changing her. For some reason she absolutely loves her changing table. She just grins and talks the whole time she is on it. We also discovered that she is ticklish. When I was taking of her clothes she just started giggling. I love that noise! This is a picture of Anna with her Uncle Zach watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". She was adamant to watch it today...I don't know why, and he was the only one that was willing to watch it with her. I think it was so everybody would leave them alone and they could take a nap. It worked! BTW...We just discovered that Zach, Erin and Liam will be moving to Minnesota in a couple of months. We are very sad but happy for the opportunity that has been presented to them. We will miss them very much!

My Blue Eyed Girl

Okay...So this is not the most flattering picture of Sara (Anna took it) but it does show off her eyes. When I was pregnant I thought for sure I would get my brown-eyed girl. Even after Sara was born I held on to that hope for there was a tinge of brown in her eyes. Well, I have come resigned myself to the fact that Sara will be another beautiful blue-eyed girl. Funny...I thought that brown eyes were dominant! Who knows, maybe Jason, Ellie and Grace all have brown eyes. My genes have got to be somewhere around here :)
