No new pictures

Well, we really haven't done anything too exciting lately. Therefore, no new pictures have been taken. But I was playing around on the internet tonight and made this poster. Thanks Rachel for the link!

Picnic in the Canyon

Tonight we decided to get some take out and head up to AF Canyon. Because we live so close I am ashamed to say that this is the first time Anna has been up there. I think the main reason we haven't been up there is because I get so car sick going around all the curves. But Anna loved it! She was running around, finding new rocks, just exploring in general. She wanted to do everything on her own. She is becoming a very independent woman...Just like her mother!

It's a ...

Today we went in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited and shocked that Jason (our son) would allow another girl into the family. The poor little guy will now have four sisters. We are pleased to announce that she is doing great so far and is an active little thing. Her father has named her Sequin Consuela for now (the name will be changed at birth). So another 2o weeks or less (hopefully 18) and she will make her arrival into the world.

I'm so glad when daddy comes home

Rob came home late last night from Texas. Anna was so excited to see him. She almost didn't let him go to work. When he got home from work she brought him all of her books and demanded that he read them to her. We are pretty excited to have our daddy home for at least the rest of the week. Who knows what next week will bring.

Blue Eyeshadow

I bought some blue eyeshadow for a Halloween costume once. Today Anna discovered it. I guess she has been watching me put on makeup and decided to try it herself. We had blue and black all over our bathroom. This was about a half an hour before church started. Luckily it wiped off of her pretty easily. The pictures don't really do her makeup job justice. She really looked a lot worse than she looks here.

Totally Awesome Anna

My mom and dad had new carpet installed and therefore did some "spring cleaning". My dad found some wristbands that I think my brothers used in T-Ball in the 80's and gave them to Anna. She will not take them off! She calls them her "pretties". Tonight she got out of the tub, ran naked through the house until she found them and put them on. I had to take a picture, but for the sake of her future embarrassment I did put clothes on her.

Happy Anniversary

So Rob and I are actually heading out of town overnight without Anna. This will be the first time since she was born that we have done this. I am so excited! Also, it will be our first date together since our attempt in March. We're not going very far (downtown Salt Lake) but it will be nice just to spend an evening alone with him. I told him that all I wanted to do was get take out and maybe watch some movies, without his Blackberry on. Between him being in Texas at least 2/4 of the month (he gets back tonight and leaves again on Monday) and dealing with the young men of our ward (he's in the Young Men's presidency) I haven't seen him much. Hopefully Anna will be good for Grandpa and Grandma. My dad gets to watch her on Friday because my mom has to work. I don't think he has ever changed a diaper. This could me interesting!

Calling all computer savey people

Help! For the last couple of days I have been trying to figure out how to attach other people's blogs to mine. I have tried everything I can think of. Anyone out there willing to help a complete idiot when it comes to computers?

Feeling a Little Saddle Sore

We went for a nice family bike ride this afternoon. I haven't been on a bike in I don't know how long. Anna loved being in her little carrier. She sat and giggled the whole time. We had a great time, but I am feeling the effects tonight. It makes me wonder how my SIL and BIL are doing today. They did the ULCER (a 111 mile bike ride around Utah Lake) yesterday. I hope that they were able to find comfortable chairs in church today!

Fireworks and poodles

We went to the fireworks last night. Anna loves them. She was happy to hang out with her Grandma and Grandpa as well. And because she was up late, I decided to put her hair in sponge rollers last night. Hence, the reference to the poodle. Her hair was so tight this morning. Luckily, she does have part of her mother in her...It had calmed down by the time we went to church and by tonight you couldn't even tell she had curls at all.
