It's a Sunshine Day!

Today was beautiful! We wanted to hang outside all day long! Grandpa showed Anna how to drink out of the hose and she loved it! She was soaking wet but didn't seem to mind. Rob ended up working in the yard...again. When he left his gloves on the kitchen table Anna picked them up and put them on. She wants to be big so badly. I just want her to stay little.

Trip to the Museum

Anna and I went to the Children's Museum with her cousins the other day. She had a ball! I couldn't get her away from the water exhibit. She loved it so much that she was even drinking the water...YUCK! Her immune system is going to be awesome! She also had fun in the construction area. Thanks to her dad she knew immediately what to do with a wheelbarrow. She also was able to "drive" a life flight helicopter and become a news anchor. We will be going back soon!

Mommy's Little Helper

Anna has turned into quite the little helper. I had to make a chocolate dessert for a party that we attended yesterday and Anna wanted to help. By the pictures you can determine how much she helped. BTW, she inherited her daddy's hair!

Daddy's Little Helper!

Rob is constructing a patio in the backyard. Anna is mesmerized by this and constantly wants to be helping him. She picks up the rocks and tosses them for him. Unfortunately for Rob it is usually not in a spot where he wants the rocks.

I Hate Road Trips!

We just got back from Boise, Idaho. What a town! It took us about five and a half hours to get there and about the same to get back. We were there for less than twenty-four hours. But it was worth it. So what was our reason to venture to Boise, you may ask. Elder Morgan, one of the Elders that was in the Bahamas when we were there, came home and reported. It was a lot of fun to see him and meet his family. I guess it was worth the drive, but I sure am tired!

Did I Miss Something?

Okay...I thought Spring was here. For the last week our heater has been kicking on during the middle of the day. What's up with that? It was only a week ago that I had the windows open, airing out the house. Anna is going stir crazy (which means I am going crazy) because she wants to go outside and ride her bike or play on her swingset. Hopefully a warm front will be coming next week. It's days like these that I really miss that warm Bahamian sun!

Easter Sunday

Anna woke up early and discovered what that silly Easter Bunny had brought her. She immediately dove into the chocolate. Unfortunately for us we discovered that the old addage "what goes up must come down" is very true. She came down hard during sacrament meeting and after church. But the good news of the day is that she was able to go to nursery for the first time and she loved it. She even waved good-bye to us. We are hoping that this trend stays!

I haven't posted for awhile due to the fact that my camera broke in January and we just got around to replacing it, so I apologize.
Anna got to go on her first Easter Egg hunt. She couldn't quite figure out what to do, but quickly realized that candy was involved. She ate her weight in chocolate today. We can't wait to see what she will do tomorrow. The holidays are definitely different when you are raising a child.
