Cloward H2O Adult Office Party

This year for the Cloward H2O Christmas Party, they decided to have two - one with kids, one without.  At the one without, we all went out to Mimi's for dinner then exchanged white elephants.  As I said in my earlier posts, I LOVE WHITE ELEPHANTS!  People are so creative - it is hilarious.  I love to laugh!  We feel very blessed to work with so many great people.  We really enjoy the company party every year and spending time socially with all these great men and women!  So, here are Corry and I having our self portrait:

Darce (Tara's husband) opening Joey's interestingly wrapped present - an ore.  Here is the thing about white elephants, you never want people to know which present you brought!  Then, if you are a character like Joey, no one will pick your present, unless you are Darce.
Heather (Dallas' wife) with her stolen picture frame stand.
Jana with her "fish and chips"
Tiffany (Damon's wife) with I am not sure what!
Go grandma Jane - rock out with Elvis.  I promptly stole this from her to give Missy for Christmas.  She loves Elvis! - OK, Missy hates Elvis, that is what makes it so funny!
Tara (the office secretary) got the coveted, but perfect for her gift - a stamp that reads "I don't have time to read this crap!" complete with a place for the date and time.  Corry tried to steal it for her, but Darce stole it back.  We tried to make it so couples couldn't work together by having all the women go around the circle , then the men, but the sneaky Barras' found a way around it!
So after Corry's mom's stuff was stolen, she opened this jewel!  A basket of lotions with this picture of Corry  saying "Directions: pull out lotion, apply body lotion liberally in preparation for full body massage given by ME!"  I thought Tim was going to pee his pants from laughing so hard.  No one would fess up to bringing this choice gift (it didn't get stolen either).
Corry's reaction to his mother's gift!
Rob came away (after stealing) with a mullet wig and mullet shampoo.  Krista won these great Mickey Mouse ears.  Aren't they the cutest couple!
Tim - he stole for this.  Monkey butt powder, a roll of toilet paper and fanny floss - ooooooew!
Trish (Tim's wife) reading the instructions on the Fanny Floss box.  She was laughing so hard tears were rolling down her face!
Kayla (Kevin's wife) finally fessing up to bringing the lotion and Corry massage.  Good one Kayla!
Dallas and Joey, don't they just look like they were caught doing something?
So, Missy babysat that night.  When we got home, she was sitting on the couch reading "Where the Red Fern Grows"  She had a paragraph left until the end and she was sobbing!  I tried to take a picture because it was so cute, but this is what I got instead.  We love you Miss!

Cloward Family Reunion

We had a great weekend at Aspen Grove with the whole Cloward family!  The only down side was the puking (never a complete family reunion with out this) and a BYU loss at the bowl game.  We were so excited that Liz and her family could come too.  We had a great time sledding and Miss and Fuzz went skiing all day Saturday with Liz and her family.  Here is a picture of the whole family.

No adventure is ever complete without a self portrait.  This time I dragged Lori (Fa) into it with me.
During nap time for the little ones, we set up the projector to watch movies.  No TV in our little cabin getaway!  That is part of what I liked about it!  Not to worry, they put the BYU game up on a big screen at the lodge for us.
Mikey kept wanting to go snoreboarding.  (Yes, I know I spelled it wrong, that is what he called it)  He loved playing with the goggles and playing in the snow.  It was a little different from the sand he is used to back in Florida.
Grandpa always wanted to have one of the kids on his lap - sometimes it was Missy and Fuzzy!
Fuzzy was excited to get the black hoodie she has wanted.
Liz liked her gift from Missy - I hope!
Miss and Fate were thrilled with their snuggly pillows and blankets that came complete with a movie and popcorn gift from Paco and Sta.
Chad and Mrn always liking new games.
Fa in her new apron.  Cute!
Mikey and Dewey opening presents together.
I didn't get a good picture of it, but Sara was so funny opening her present!  She was so excited and just couldn't wait to get it all the way open.
You gotta love Joey behind bars!
The family all gathered for testimony meeting.  It was great to listen to the testimonies of family up there and remember what life is all about.
Scotty fell down getting his boots on and got stuck in the pile of shoes!
Corry's gift from Mrn and Chad - he wouldn't let me post the one with them on - over his clothes!  He told the kids that all super heros wear their underwear on the outside.  Funny!  That was the best 70 cents Mrn and I have ever spent!  -  Yes he did end up getting a real present too, but this was much funnier!
Cecil and his mini Yoda! Mason finally got to be Yoda.
Alli eating a big hunk of carmel at the Dalley's cabin.  We were lucky enough to go up the same weekend the Dalley's rented a cabin in Timberlakes.  Theirs was much bigger so we all went over there for dinner Sunday night.  Ang had made homemade caramels - Yum!  It was fun to see them, but we didn't stay long because of more puking!
Chance holding Jack.  There were plenty of people willing to hold babies.  It is nice that all the kids love babies and little kids too.  There really wasn't much fighting and they all seemed to really enjoy being together.

We had a no shoes rule because anytime you walked outside, you became covered in snow!  This was the resulting mess!
TeeJay and Dani
Liz and Chad getting their morning fix!
Everyone else had a regular size plate.  Not Missy - this was her plate!
We feel very blessed to have made it home safely.  We left a little early since another storm hit and we were the only non 4-wheel drive vehicle up there.  This is a picture of the road on the way down the mountain.  We actually did quite well in our van.  It took us quite a while to get to Provo, but it was worth it to keep our cargo safe!
Others were not so slow and careful on the road that morning.  What a tragedy.  The two teenagers in this car died.
All in all, it was a great weekend of family togetherness and bonding.  We are very blessed to have so much family around us that love and care for us.  Thanks Clowards for a great memory!

Fuzzy's Class Party

For Fuzzy's class party, we started with a nice friendly white elephant game.  They were so quiet at first, but that all changed!  There was good natured fighting over things (usually the gifts with candy in them) and the game ended up lasting almost the whole party because they kept stealing from each other!

Finally we played another game with the poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas" then they played with Boom Whackers.  I had never heard of them before but they are a lot of fun.  Each pipe is a different musical pitch.  You whack yourself with the pipe when your note comes up so everyone ends up playing a Christmas song.  The kids had a lot of fun with them and they were so intent on doing it right, they actually did make music!

Scotty's Class Party

Scotty's Kindergarten class had a Polar Express party for Christmas.  We watched clips of the movie, made a candy train, played a game with a gold ticket, and of course had hot chocolate.  It was a lot of fun.

Scotty loves this Santa hat he made at Luc's house.  He loved it so much that I had to sew it back together the night before the party so he could wear it!
