E Greenroom in October

The Green room is a Spa-cafe, serving wholesome vegetarian morsels in e greenery of bishan park. A hidden gem, for its abundant parking, relaxed-well composed ambience & best of all, healthy vegetarian food!
Going by our standards, the food is just so-so.

(+)The ciabatta bread with grilled n sauteed veg was excellent. The baby spinach salad is commendable, loved the slices of walnut. The Scrunchy Nachos & Table Tapas was a platter of nachos, good bread n delicious dips
(-)The burger was a major let-down, even a non-chef like myself could probably do better. The veg mutton curry tasted like mild jap curry with pieces of mockmeat.
(/) So-s0.. e tomyam & soba.

Service, the waitress & waiters were obliging but inattentive, perhaps due to inexperience. They were commendable & helpful in serving the byo cake(even got new set of plates, serviets n cutlery) & helped take photos.

A pleasant surprise, they are PET-Friendly, & allowed Bentley-parrot in e alfresco zone. Kait (cutest 2.5yr niece) loved e surroundings n ran about looking for e garden toad. Overall, i give the place a thumbs up & will revisit for its healthy-vegetarian factor, proximity & ambience.

The Awfully Choc Cake was Absolutely yummy.
