Anyone can meditate ... juz like anyone can cook (rings a ratata..bell? ;))

The Dhamma Teaching of Acariya Maha Boowa in London translated from the Thai by Bhikkhu Paññavaddho (1980; 324k/108pp.)
A wide-ranging collection of formal Dhamma talks and informal question-and-answer sessions, directed to a group of lay followers in London. Here you will find this memorable exchange, among many others: A questioner asked, "I would like to ask if people can practice meditation in a city like this [London]?" Maha Boowa replied, "Only the dead cannot practice meditation."

Airport send-off for Ven Zhanli

A super early sunday morning to e airport, kopitiam drinks n a group photo.

Ven Zhanli is in light-orange robes, i had met him 2yrs ago on a grouptrip to tibet prior to his ordination. Ven told me, "I am very happy being a monk!" yup he said it definitely more than once, n i am really pleased for him.

The 2 tibetan monks are from Sera-J monastery, high academia. (either 1 or both are Geshes, equivalent to a PHd). The tibetan buddhistic studies is very vigorous, takes many years of learning, debates & exams.
