getting cute n meaningful sms'es fr friends
spending time wif old folks, taking photos of their special dinner
chill out party at e Lingomax's coolest starwars deco'd hse in town
visit to tc's new mandala (land for new temple)
mh's 20yr port, portebello stuffed m'rooms & PL/ZP's energetics

Orchard is gorgeous, worth a cycle for e lights n colors..

R.A.W = Realities Around the World

This sat(AM+PM) & sun AM , i joined a gathering of 7folks at Green circle for a farming-cum-brainstorming workshop.

Wendy e founder of Raw, together with Farheen & Andrew facilitated 3 sessions : I)Self-introduction & sharing of life-defining moments (using drawing, items), II) Discussion on Activism n Spirituality III) Sharing & Brainstorming Raw.
I especially enjoyed the Introductions, the fun ice-breaker games of using an Adjective-Name.

This was also a group who spoke very expressively using proper english, which was something i had not encountered for a long time ;) . Vivacious, A-jar.. wah!
These fellas also marketed their literature list very well, now i m motivated to sacrifice sleep for those must-read books!

The sands of time ran out fast, & we didnt seem to be able to finish all of e 2nd & 3rd discussions. i hope something comes out of this.
Things which struck a chord, (1) Raising Awareness (social, environmental issues) (2) Fairtrade (3) Alternative community living.

Friday Babies

This evening was babies, toddlers galore ! Kait was in her element, she held up Big Bird(sesame st).. & said "bid birt" ... awww.

PL & ZP were running about. PL was in this stage of calling everyone ah-boy, probably picked up fr nursery sch, & a way of getting attention fr e grown-ups.

i went to David's baby's 1-mth gathering, such a peaceful baby. Asleep in a comfy 'hammock-like' spring rocker, he was just zzz snoozing.
