3/4 tank rule

Once in a while, i contribute to the singapore govt's funds, and yesterday, i got a S$100 fine for being on the causeway with car petrol below the 3/4 tank. At 1/2 tank, the compound fine was $100, and subsequent incident would cost $300, then $500 !

No luck in trying to talk, plead & smile my way out! They seem to be on a adament mission to catch and meet some quota. Its no fun being in this 'fine' situation.

I try to think of all the good & benefits that the spore govt had provided and not be too flustered by this dent to my bank account.

By the way, the customs office accept credit card for payment - visa or amex m'dm ? ;)

Khenrinpoche.. seeing off at e airport

On rather last min notice, i heard abt Khenrinpoche's flight back to Kopan, and went to e airport early this morning to see him off.

First, i joined the queue and presented him with a kata, and he kindly blessed me.

There were many more ppl & i just stood by to see him wif e ppl. My impressions, it was so peaceful to watch this kind, funny, (& probably extremely holy, pure, deeply spiritually wise) person blessing others. There was nothing more that i could wish to do on this morning.
