I've been stewing on something for almost a week. I thought maybe I took it the wrong way. I'm pretty good at that. However, I asked someone about it today. It's the first time I've brought it up to anyone and they said "yes, totally uncool" (not to quote Ms. Aniston).
I was recently approached with the "I know this may be totally out of your budget" comment. Why would someone say that? The person that said it to me, really does not know me all that well. What would give you the right to say that to me? Not just me, but anyone. It's rude and uncalled for. Especially in a room full of people. My FRIENDS know that I'm frugal, but only when it comes to myself. It made me feel like I was in Dillards and the bitchy ass saleswomen won't even look in my damn direction. You don't know how much money I have, nor does it matter. I'm a person and things like that should be kept to yourself. I wish people would think before they speak.

WTH?
I saw this morning that the "bailed-out" insurance giant AIG is doubling the salaries of over 100 managers to keep them aboard.
This is a big WTH????

Blog(er) boycott
I'm boycotting a blog that I read on a regular basis on Kansas.com. Okay, not boycotting the blog, but one blogger in particular.
I can't stand people that think others owe them something. People owe you NOTHING when you are rude, nasty and snide. This blogger acts like a spoiled rotten brat.
Every single time this person posts a blog it is negative and nagging.
I would usually not complain about the content of Kansas.com, unless it has to do with the comments posted on stories. If you don't think there are true idiots amongst us, read comments on certain stories. Good Gawd! I could go on and on regarding that. Kansas.com is one of my favorite things to read everyday. But I refuse to read someones complete disrespect for other people. THE VERY PEOPLE YOU ARE TRYING TO SERVE. Pretty soon no one in this town is going to be willing to talk to you.
Listen, I'm as negative as the next person, but I would never bite the hand that feeds me.
Okay I feel better.

I've been tagged
My super-de-duper friend Chris tagged me.
I'm CRAZY late to the festivities. Sorry about that. Hey, at least it gave me something to blog about right???
Here are the rules...
1. Post the rules on your blog
2. Write six random things about yourself
3. Tag six-ish people at the end of your blog
4. Let each person know he/she has been tagged
5. Let the tagger know when your entry is up
Heather's Random Things
1. I was a member of the first female team to race the Cruiser Division at 81 Speedway. My friend Sherry and I decided we needed to show the boys what we had. We had some friends that would come into the sports bar that we worked at and they decided to buy our car for us and their businesses were our sponsors. Cruiser cars are set up where the gas is on the passenger side and the steering wheel and brake are on the other. We did not kick serious a@*, but we had a blast!!!
2. When I gave birth to Gage we had no place to live. Our trailer park (yes, I said trailer park) was hit by the May 3, 1999 tornado that hit Haysville and headed north. We lived in the trailer park on Seneca, right off of I-235. I had Gage two weeks to the day after the tornado hit and we stayed with my parents. The SBA came through with a low interest loan that we used for a down payment on our home that we live in now. We sold what was left standing of our trailer to a guy in Arkansas and he moved it down there to use as a "lake home." I still can't believe that with all the craziness that was going on, I still gave birth with NO DRUGS!
3. My claim to fame is that I printed the "F" word in an obituary. My mom and dad still have it hanging on the fridge. Everyone threatened to send it in to Jay Leno. It was all over the radio that morning (or at least I was told). It was my last day of a 40 day stretch and I'm sure that word had crossed my mind PLENTY that day. The deceased worked for Funk Manufacturing as a receiving clerk. Ugh. Yes, I know the "n" and "c" really are not that close on the keyboard. His family was actually pretty cool about the whole thing. They did say if he were alive he would be laughing his butt off.
4. A dream of mine is to own a bar and grill in Manitou Springs, Colo. at the foot of Pikes Peak. That area attracts a lot of tourists. Just real friendly people. I love to cook and entertain and really just enjoy people in general. The area has kind of a hippie feel and my dad has always told me that I was born in the wrong era. Hence the Patchouli. ;o)
5. Justin & I have had the same mutual friends for over 17 years, yet we did not met until 1997. We met at a Halloween party. He was dressed as an African Voodoo Headhunter and I was a Dominatrix (boy did I have him fooled). That was on a Saturday night. He gave me his number and waited to call him until Tuesday night. We decided to go out on a bowling date. I failed to tell him that I had bowled since I was five. He bowled a 76 and I bowled a 210. Now he bowls just as well as I do.
6. I was once in a commercial for Joe Self Chevrolet. I played one of four brats cruising along with our parents in a crappy station wagon. The theme of the commercial was something along the lines of "Doesn't this family need a new vehicle?" My cousins were the other brats and a family friend was the dad and if I remember correctly the mom was my aunt Gayle. I have it on Beta somewhere. Need to find that and have it converted to a DVD.
I'm tagging...
Christina
Robyn
Lori
Jennifer
Betsy
Most everyone has been tagged already.

Just so ya know....
I'm probably going to end my blog. Just don't feel like "writing" about anything anymore. I will still read about everyone's exciting lives (and leave comments). I might still post things here and there, but I'm not gonna make myself sick over it. No biggie. If I have something to share great, if not, OH WELL.

This is hard
April Logan, myself and April CramerBlogging that is. I just don't feel passionate about it anymore. I'm trying though.
Justin and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on Oct. 5th. We went to Tablerock Lake and rented a cabin with two other couples. Great friends, good food, good times. We really enjoyed ourselves. WE MADE IT and I'm proud of our accomplishment. We've come a LONG way. Justin & I try to make each other laugh AT LEAST once a day. Our good times outweigh the bad. It's all been worth the hard work. I would never want to live my life without someone as great a Justin. He's a great person, husband, provider and the best father ever.
I took a full week off from work, which was SO needed. I came back to work feeling MUCH better than before I took the vacay. I needed a break. I was beginning to feel very burnt out and very bitter about things that have been taking place at the ol' jobbie job. It's been a rough year.
Gage has been sick since Saturday. Running a fever, stomach issues and a headache. If he's not better tomorrow he'll have to go to the doctor. Bummer. He's in great spirits, but just kinda feeling yucky.
Justin has been on 3 day work weeks since the week after the Boeing strike. Trying to remain positive, but it's kinda hard. Holidays are right around the corner and I can't help but worry myself sick about things. But I know Justin & I would starve ourselves before Gage would have a bad Christmas. Yes, he's spoiled and he's our only one and will always be.
My great friend Lori married the best husband in the land, Dustin on Oct. 4th. Great wedding. I'm so happy for her. She finally found her number one and he totally rocks! Funny, goofball kind of guy! Those ones are the best. Could explain why I married Justin. We can both be huge dorks and that's very comforting.
My uncle Greg was put in the hospital while we were in Missouri. Turned out he had 4 blood clots in his leg and then DA-DA-DA they found cancer in his kidney and think it may have spread to his stomach. We are awaiting the results from some CT scans and biopsies. Should know something at the end of the week.
Justin, KC Cramer, Josh Logan, April Cramer, April LoganI've also decided that when all of the tough times end, I NEED A DISHWASHER! I've never really wanted one, but as time goes on I've come to realize that I DESERVE one! Come on man. It's time for me to be doing other things that dishes. Right????

Coming soon
I promise I'll be posting a blog tomorrow. Not tonight. I'm TOO tired. I've got to post pics from our 10th wedding anniversary. Please be patient my little friends. I needed and deserved a break from "life" and that's just what I got last week. I have not taken a full week off work in over 3 years. Look here tomorrow for what I did during my time off.
