WPJH Track 2010

Wayne was the head Girls Track Coach this year at West Point Jr High. He coached the jumping events. The boys team to first place at the North End Meet. He brought this trophy home, we thought it would be great to have a picture of it.

The next week was the District Track Meet the boys team took third at the meet.

On Saturday, May 22 we had the annual track BBQ at our house. We had about 40 Jr. High kids here, and the coaches and their families. It was a lot of fun.

We had a great visit from Julie, Janae, Justin (Janae's boyfriend), Laura, Carol Ann and Cynthia. Danielle even came up for the evening and hung out with us. My kids were looking forward to their visit all week. I was so glad that they came. We don't get to see them very often, so it was fun to catch up on their lives and get to know them a little better.

They brought each of the kids a gift. Tyler got this Diary of a Wimpy Kid Uno. They had a lot of fun playing it. Braden got a Diary of a Wimpy Kid T-shirt and Sarah got some Princess books. They were all very excited.

My Mom and Dad have 19 Grand kids. 11 Grandsons and 8 Granddaughters. We had 6 of the granddaughters at our house! Sarah is usually out numbered by all the boy cousins, so it was fun for her to have some girls here for a change!

Chuck E. came and threw out tickets and posed for the pictures! The kids were all very excited.

Since we don't get to see these cousins very often we decided the boys could miss school and spend the day having fun with their cousins! (Braden is wearing the shirt his cousins gave him.) We went to Chuck E. Cheese and had a lot of fun playing the games.

Sarah was going across the street to play with her friend Aly. It was raining so I opened the garage and headed over there. When I got home there was a robin in my garage. It was flying around like crazy. It pooped on the freezer, wall, back door, chairs, another place on the wall, and the garage door. I thought if I shut the garage door maybe I could get it out the back door. I stood at the back door, with my hood on my head for fear of being pooped on, and yelled "birdie, birdie," It just perched itself on the springs of the garage door. I had my cell phone so I called my friend Cathryn, (Her husband is a Police Officer and doesn't leave for work until 1 pm.) and asked if Tim could come help with the bird problem. He came and tried to get the bird to land on a broom so he could carry it out. The bird decided to hide next to the freezer. It just laid there, so I gave Tim a pair of gloves and he picked it up and released it out the door. Needless to say it was a crazy morning. The bird left me many treasures in the garage as a memento. The front of my garage door has several spots on it, and it is still raining so I can't go out and clean it up. Good thing Tim was home to help me, because my whole garage might be covered with poop by now!

I didn't get pictures of the kids playing at Braden's party! Marilyn had these cute pictures so I asked her to e-mail them to me! Our kids just love playing with thier cousins! They had a great afternoon playing with each other!
