Santa's Workshop!

Every year Clint's mom puts on a show the two days after Thanksgiving at the Dixie Center called Santa's Workshop. This year I decided I would make a bunch of cookies for the show and sell them. I made sugar, chocolate chip, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. There were right around 1300 cookies made by the time the show rolled around. It was most definitely a success. Thanks to Clint's whole family for all their help. We could not have done it without you. Three wild kids at the show made for an interesting time.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was a blast. We ate at Clint's parents house. The weather was so nice that they decided to have the feast outside. We had great company and delicious food. Really, what more could we ask for?

Thanks Michelle for snapping some pictures of my family! I was so sad when I realized that I forgot my camera. (You take awesome pictures by the way. I wish you could always be following my kids around taking pictures!)

The Parties

Cannon sure does know how to get the best birthdays ever. This year, Cannon's birthday fell on a Thursday so we thought it would be best to do his party on the following Saturday. He wanted a parade themed birthday party this year. On the day of his birthday when his Aunt Colleen and Grandma "GG" called him to wish him a happy birthday, he mentioned to them that he wanted a surprise birthday party. So, as he suggested, his Aunt Colleen and Grandma planned him the best surprise birthday party ever! Out on the bed of Grandpa Sullivan's flatbed truck, Grandpa Bruce strung lights and hung balloons. We ate donuts and drank hot chocolate and Cannon opened some birthday presents. It was one awesome surprise birthday party!

(Not to mention, we already went to McDonald's earlier that day with his Mema for lunch.)

When Saturday rolled around, he had his parade party. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty much over his birthday by then because I knew he already had such a good time on his real birthday. So the parade party become more and more simple by the minute. The kids sure did have a blast though.

Cannon getting ready to blow out his birthday cake candle. (Notice the simplicity of the cake, a bunch of Hostess products stacked with a candle on the top. Clint says this is tradition in the Sullivan family so why not carry it on again right?)

Getting their bikes and scooters decorated and ready for the parade.

Here comes the parade!

Such a cute little girl!

Thanks Trey and Tallen for the present!

Happy birthday Cannon! We sure do love you!!

4!

This little boy just turned 4! Wow, where has time gone? Here are a few random facts about Cannonball!

He loves going to his primary class.
His favorite color is blue.
He is always wanting to go outside to practice soccer.
He has some good running endurance.
He makes friends wherever he goes.
He's always looking out for his little brother and sister.
He loves the movie Elf right now.
He's the best 1st born a mama could ever ask for!

Happy Birthday Cannon boy! You're mama loves you!!

Fun at the track

This picture makes me laugh every time I see it. These kids were determined to climb to the top of Hansen Stadium. They all climbed at their own speed. And yes, even Jacee girl made it to the top!
Cohen running fast!

Jacee will always stop and smile to get her picture taken.

Way back at the beginning of November, I ran in the Snow Canyon Half Marathon. The kids loved it. They loved the medal i received when I finished and that so many people were running. They thought it was cool that I got a shirt and number. So they decided that we have to let them practice for what they call the "kids half marathon." So what have we been doing lately to practice for it? We go to the track to "train" for the kids half marathon. They love it, and it wears them out. No complaints here! :)

1hr 47 minutes was my time... Not to bad..

Hot Water

This, my friends, is our family's water heater right now. Last week our old trusty water heater started to leak. Just to save you all some time from checking on Google if your hot water heater starts to leak, you need a new one. We had a new one put in last Friday. Of course though with our luck, it was a lemon. Blah! When the part comes in to fix the water heater, it will be a glorious day!
More bad luck going on in the Sullivan house hold: The flu is making it's way through us all.
And no that can't be all. Poor Cannon has to get at least two caps (on his teeth), maybe even more. We prefer to call them bling!

Hey it could be worse though!
Peace out!
*Disclaimer: We are so blessed to be having a friend so nicely volunteer his time in putting in the water heater for just cost of the heater. We truly are blessed.
There was my rant and rave for the day!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween week. We went to 4 or 5 different Halloween parties before Halloween. I didn't take pictures at any of them though. :( The only pictures I have are these crappy pictures of Halloween night. The boys loved running from house to house to go trick or treating. They would have done it all night. They would just keep pointing to different houses and saying "We didn't go to that house." Jacee had a great time too! She is Miss independent and didn't want anyone to carry her. She would run behind her brothers from house to house and would make it to the door just in time to get her candy. It was fun times. The boys are already telling me what they want to dress up as for next year! These kids are a hoot!

Family pictures 2011

Thanks Emma for taking our family pictures! We love them!!

5 YEARS!!

Wow, where did time go!? Five years! A lot has happened in five short years. I decided I would post a picture of our family for all five years. Oh how things have changed. I wouldn't have it any other way though!

SLC

Clint had another few days off of work so we decided it would be fun to head to Salt Lake City. We had so much fun. Clint's mom has a time share right next to the conference center and she was so nice to let us use some of her days there. The kids were so excited to be on vacation. They woke up at 6.30 the first morning. We got up and dressed to go walk around the temple and other church sites. We went to the visitors center, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and the church office building. It was a lot of fun to show the kids these places. The spirit is so strong on the temple grounds in Salt Lake. It just amazes me.

With Joseph Smith,

The flowers were so pretty! And of course Jacee girl too!

I love these three so so so much!

In the Joseph Smith Memorial building.

Jacee thinks Coco is so funny!

I love this guy!!

After a little while, the kids started to get kind of wild and ready to do something else. We decided to walk to the Gateway Mall. They have a kids discovery center there. The kids loved it!

Jacee loved driving this little Jeep.

Coco filling the Jeep up with gas.

Cannon loved playing in the market pretending to shop and being the cashier.

Cohen loading all the hay into the truck.

Cannon being the cashier.

Ever since the rodeo, the boys have loved cowboys. They point out cowboys to me no matter where we are. They loved playing cowboy here!

My camera died and I'm to lazy to post the rest of the pictures off of Clint's phone but Cohen loved dressing up like the mail man and delivering the mail too. He was the cutest little mail man ever.

The next day we shopped at IKEA, the mall, and ate at my favorite place Chipotle. It was such a fun little get-a-way. Thank you so much Grandma Gaye for letting us stay at the Kimball. It was so much fun!!!!
