FTL251 You are Amazing
This is my take on FTL251. It isn't my normal style with the big flower but this was also created for my online card class assignment which was to create something outside of our comfort zone. I don't make cards that I can't send through the mail in a normal envelope.
Supplies: Stamps - Sweet 'N Sassy; Ink - Hero Arts Shadow Ink, Tea Dye Distress Ink; Paper - PaperTrey, K&Co; Misc - Simon Says Stamp Die, Prima Flower, Twine, Rhinestones, Ink Blending Tool
251!

250!!!
Wow!
Two hundred and fifty sketches, can you believe it!
Here's my sketch:
Here's my take on the sketch. I decided to make a non-birthday card. This is what I came up with:
I didn't want a plain background so I took the trail images from Happy Trails and did some random background stamping.
Supplies:
Stamps: Happy Trails
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Dark Chocolate
Accessories, etc.: Scalloped Edge Punch (Fiskars), Dimensional Tape, Baker's Twine

You Make the Grade, FTL249
Hi friends. I am so glad that I was able to do a card for you today. It's been a very long summer. Can you believe next week will be our 250th sketch! That's a lot of sketches to refer back to just in case you find yourself needing a great sketch on the go!
Today's card was really easy and fun to make. Instead of reaching for my usual Stamper's Select White, I went for grid paper this time since my card has a school theme to it and it reminded me of notebook paper. It's just the little details that can enhance your card to much and make a big difference.
My "grounding shelf" that the books are sitting on is a word bubble stamp from Paper Smooches (Shadows). I flipped it upside down and covered the small corner that leads into the word bubble. Worked perfectly!
I think this is just the most adorable card for a girl to tuck away in her lunchbox for the first day of school. You can simply change the colors out to make it more of a masculine card.
Unfortunately, the pictures do not do this card justice. I really need to find my light box and get it set up.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today and God bless you!
