A Card For A Newborn Girl

Rise and shine everybody!

A card which I'm sharing now was made to order for my colleague at work, who soon is going to a kind of baby shower party.
The card for this occasion had to be super delicate, that's why I chose pastel colors of pink, yellow and green.

I used lots of dies' shapes to cut a tag, doilies, borders, a fence, several butterflies etc.

1. Border - Magnolia Antique Lace
2. Tag -
Magnolia SO WRAPPED TILDA LACE
3. Doily - Cheery Lynn - French Pastry Doily
4. Butterflies - Mini Dimensional Butterflies
5. Swirl - Fanciful Flourish
6. Mini Doily - DOILY CIRCLES Die-Namics

The tag may be pulled out:

On a tag there's a little plastic dummy:

The image is from Wee Stamps - Birthday Baby Girl:

On a pie I used Glossy Accents

The Shabby Embossing Enamel looks just great:

A Magic Card - Butterfly Princess

Morning everybody!

After a rainy day we had yesterday, I hope today we'll see more sun :)
Today's post is called "Magic Card", 'cuz I made a new card following a video tutorial  I found long ago on YouTube, and the kind of fold in the tut was called (for some reason) a magic one.

Nevertheless, the card itself is pretty simple, the most trickiest part was to color this cute image by Saturated Canary - Butterfly Princess.

I punched the sides of the card with an EK Success Abstract Flower Punch and distessed them with the Sweet Sixteen ColorBox Queue Pigment Inkpads.

Have a look:

I've placed some Dry Glitter (in Israel it may be purchased at Anat's Shop - XMIX) on the bottom of the dress and it's really easy to glue it on with the help of the Quickie Glue Pen:

For the first time I tried to use Shabby Embossing Enamel by Stampendous (it has to be heated from under the paper and not from the top, like all the regular embossing powders). There are tiny bits of glitter and gold in this powder and you may achieve with it a very interesting look:

Looks like the card was not supposed to stand, but still :)

Thanks for visiting and have a great creative day!

Violet Card - Saturated Canary

Hello friends!

I have a new card to share, which I made yesterday and for the first time I made it to order. One guy from work accidentally saw my works and asked to prepare something for his wife, who is having a birthday next week. I was told that she likes a violet color.

The image is by Saturated Canary, colored with Copics (as usual). I used several dies, which I've recently ordered from Simon Says Stamp. Among them there are Magnolia Dies, which are absolutely gorgeous! I wanted to have them so much! :)

So here is the card:

Both of the tags may be pulled out:

I'm just in love with this one! It's so cute!

An Autumn Card

Hello,

Today I'm at work and I thought that I'd make a post about a new card I made yesterday from here. Though autumn is still not here, according to the calendar it was supposed to be :) Some time ago I bought this sweet Autumn Marcy stamp by LaLaLand Crafts from ענת and only now I'm using it.

The card is decorated from the inside too:

I'm not Afraid.....

Today for the first time in my life, and for the first time at all, the sirens were heard in Gush Dan area and just in the middle of writing this post and adding pictures, I had to run to a shelter. I thank God, that my husband is back from his trip and we can support each other on these absolutely not easy days here in Israel.

Nevertheless, we have to be strong and try to go on living as usual. Several days ago I made a card, but didn't find a spare minute to write a post about it.

I really tried to color the stamped image (by Rachelle Anne Miller, "Picking Flowers") in gentle colors and here is the outcome:

I made by myself this dragonfly embellishment from plastic, and colored it with acrylic dabbers and in my opinion it looks cute and very becoming in this card.

I don't have a tag die, so I cut these two by myself according to a stencil which I prepared first.

This is how the card looks inside:

I also bought a stamp (from "Office Depot"), which has my e-mail and a blog address in it. Actually, it's very convenient and you can order any stamp in different sizes and forms, and have anything you want written in it. They prepare the stamp during 5 minutes and you may start using it within 2-3 hours (this time is needed for the ink to get to all the letters of the stamp).

I really hope the night will be calm and we won't need to run to the shelter. On this "lyric moment" I'm saying to you "thank you" for visiting my blog.

Cute Owls

Good morning people!

Though in Israel it's not cold yet, and we still don't need long sleeves and sweaters, the weather surprised us with rather early rains. My hubby is still away, and I go on making cards :)

The one I'm ready to share today is about the owls. The image was stamped with NEIGHBOURWOOD- OWLETS stamp, and coloring it was a bit of a challenge.

Maybe because of the variety of colors used in the image itself, it was difficult for me to find matching papers and embellishments. I also tried to find some other way of folding a card, so here is what I got:
