Lots happened this summer! The Wilsons made it to Utah and we spent a lot of time playing with cousins! The kids took lots of swimming lessons and it was really good for all of them! We celebrated lots of birthdays and tried to get out as much as possible! I feel like it went by so fast and yet we were all ready for school to start again! Here is my attempt at catching up...
National Donut Day!
Jacks name was pulled out of a drawing at the dentist for free tickets to the zoo! So we all got to go for free! We went bright and early and managed to get through the zoo in a little over an hour...just as we were starting to sweat! Clay didnt want to go on the train so we called it good!
She wouldnt eat the mac n cheese sitting in front of her, but insisted on my salad instead. And then wouldnt even touch the cookie I was offering her. Silly girl!
When we try to leave cousins house we always have to check to make sure we dont have any extra kids with us! We usually have to kick a couple out!
Fun (and late) night at Adobe movie night...Zootopia!
He was so excited to walk home from church (instead of driving) that he practically ran home, leaving me in the dust!
My boys have some pretty amazing primary leaders! Jack got to help teach about repentance this particular day.
Flag day! Love love love these flags flying in our neighborhood!
Cub Scout field trip!
Cub Scout day camp!
Activity Days summer fun!
As we were walking out the door to go to couins house one day, Cohen grabbed our children's song book and told me (very matter of factly) that aunt Lyndsay was going to help him with his songs! She was so nice to humor him and I love how excited he already is about playing the piano (even if his hands are a little too small still)!
We checked out Manila Creek Pond! I quite liked it...even if the 'beach' was a little rocky and the water was a little cold!
'A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.' Fathers Day!
Clays birthday!
Clay had to travel to California for work and got to try out the Redwoods rope course. He said I wouldnt have made it...probably true. I would like to think I would have been brave enough to try!
