Make Those Blue Eyes POP!!!

This is probably one of my most requested tutorials. Not this one specifically, but in general. A lot of girls want to know what colors will make their blue eyes stand out. I've always dreamed of having super dark hair and beautiful blue eyes. It's just a combo that I find stunning! Alas, I'm a brown eyed girl ;) but still love it! I have done a tutorial for the summer time and here is one for the winter. It is the same general idea but a few different colors.
P.S. Be looking soon on the blog for a giveaway from Shabby Apple!!!!! Here is the outfit I wore in the video =):

Naked Pallete

FINALLY!!!!!!!!! This bad boy has been out of stock for FOREVER!!!!!!!! On a whim, I went to the site for like the thousandth time and low and behold it was THERE!!!!!!! You know when you are trying to do something so fast that you mess up everything? I was typing in account information knowing that there was a HUGE chance while I was thus engaged that it would go out of stock again. My name was typed in many different ways in my haste, Jenny, Jenfghi, Jennni...it was quite disgraceful but it's MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go and see if you can get yours too. Leave a comment if you have one and how much you love it or that you went and you were able to purchase it. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

For Katy =)

The colors that I have in my blue palette are all colors from MAC. You can buy the eyeshadow in it a "pot" at the counters or get what is called a refill from an actual MAC store. The palette can also be purchased there and you can pick up to 15 colors to buy and put in there or take your time filling it. If you buy the eyeshadows at a MAC counter then I have a site on the side for you to show you how to get them "de-potted" and then they will fit in the palette. These are the colors I have (going across each row starting with the lime green): Bitter, Mink & Sable, Aquadisiac, Clarity, Star By Night, Swimming, Humid, Talent Pool, Electric Eel (better than Clarity to me), Chrome Yellow (LOVE!!!), Sumptuous Olive (exactly like Mink & Sable), Newly Minted, Tilt, Deep Truth (LOVE!!!) and Contrast (LOVE!!!). I definitly did not buy these all at once but have enjoyed buying shadows every now and then and building up my collection so that now I have an "only blue palette".....obviously when I buy another blue the Chrome Yellow will HAVE to go somewhere else =). The colors that I bought at Khols also fit into these and I will most likely buy a MAC palette for them as well. Tutorial coming soon on Newly Minted!!!!!!

Eyeshadow Palettes

Jennifer brings up a common problem, one that I for sure had before I found eyeshadow palettes from MAC. I had many colors and loved them but hated always needing to sift through all my "pots" to find the right one. By pots, I am referring to the original casings that MAC eyeshadows come in. MAC palettes can be found in all MAC stores (not the counters)......and EBAY!!!!! Don't you just love that place? That's where I got mine. They will run you about 12-15 dollars and are VERY worth it!!! They hold up to 15 shadows and you can start organizing them like the ones you see here by color. When you get your palette you no longer need to buy the shadows in their pots. Now you just order the refills or buy them (only) at a MAC store and they are only $10.50 so it's a better deal. Right now on coastalscents.com they are claiming to have a palette that has openings the same size as MAC for only $8, but after shipping you are basically paying the same price only like 50 cents less. So I would personally get MAC ones because you know you are getting quality. A great way to "depot" your colors that you have now so that you can put them in your new palette is found on the side bar. It will explain everything so that you do it in a way to not harm or crack your colors that you love. Hope that helps!!!!
