When car trouble strands a honeymooning couple in

"I enjoyed this film immensely. It's yet another nicely-photographed Hammer presentation, which made its theater debut on September 11, 1963. .... Some good old-fashioned gothic touches adorn this picture too, e.g.: horse-drawn carriages, the old castle, a fog-encased gravesite, and a terrific bat-filled finale. And the opening "shovel" scene provides a chilling beginning to the film.
The set designs are excellent, and the color photography is warm and inviting."
