Wes and Max.2 handsome boys!

So yesterday I registered Wes for Jr. High.  I can't believe that my little boy is going to be 12 in a couple of weeks.  How did he get so big.  No wait, how did I get so old!!! I am having mixed feelings about this. I know he will do great.  I am a little sad that he is growing up.  Aren't kids supposed to stay small forever.  He is so excited about going.  I guess at least he isn't scared. Here's to going to JR. High.  :)

It has been way to long since I have blogged.  I know I am a slacker.  While I was away from my blogging world my little girl turned 3. She was so excited for her party this year.  This is such a fun age.  Some fun things about this girl.
* She is as sassy as they come.
* She loves to dance.
* She loves that she can now play outside.
* She loves playing with her friends and cousins. 
* She doesn't stop talking.....pretty much ever.
* She loves to eat and help my cook and do experiments
* She loves her aunites and cousins and talks about them constantly
* She loves to play with her babies and can't wait to meet her cousin in a couple of weeks
I don't know what I would do without this little girl in my life.  She makes me laugh pretty much everyday with her antics.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BIG GIRL!

Baby Quilt

This is the latest quilt I have done.  It is a signature quilt that I made for my cousins baby.  I love the material in this one.  Now it is time to start another one.

 We spent spring break on vacation to California to see our families, help my sister move and to have some fun in the sun.  It was nice weather and we enjoyed being outside most of the time.  We got to see Grandpa John and play in his back yard.  The kids loved it.  They loved picking the lemons too.

We went to the beach with Jenny and Charlie and Stephen.  It wasn't the warmest day to go to the beach but the kids had a great time.  Wesley and Stephen saw lots of creatures in the ocean.  Claire found a lady bug and was happy as could be playing with it and putting it in the sand and feeding it bread.  She finally let it go.  The ocean was really cold and so none of us got in.  Claire was looking at the seashells and fell when a wave knocked her down.  She did not like that ONE bit.  It was great to see Jenny and part of the boys.  We were sad we weren't able to see all of them.  Hopefully we will be able to go out again this summer!

We did a LOT of swimming.  Jamie's new place had a great pool.  Perfect for all ages.  Claire never wanted to leave.  She is a fish.  Wait so is Wes he didn't ever want to leave either!

We also went on a bike ride.  Claire went in the Ibert for the first time and LOVED it.  Thanks mom for getting that for her birthday!

Happy Birthday to Wesley!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sweet handsome little boy.  Okay so not so little he turned 11.  I know I am a couple of days late, but better late then never.  He is one amazing big brother and Claire loves him.  He is patient with her (most of the time!)  He got a bike and all he wants to do is ride it.  We are so lucky to have Wes in our family.  He always makes us laugh.  WE LOVE YOU!!!

Holy Snow Batman!!!!

 

We woke up to about 4 inches of snow today.  Yesterday it was 74 degrees outside.  Today is going to be a high of 40!  We love living in good ole' Utah in the spring.  Thankfully we are going to sunny California next week for spring break.  Hopefully the weather will be nice to us!

Claire loves to get dressed by herself.  She is so independent these days.  She was trying to put her shirt on and it kept sliding down and I got this shot of her.  How can anyone not love those chubby cheeks.  It is hard to stay mad at her. Below are some pictures of her making funny faces.  It isn't very often that she pulls faces and lets me take pictures.  Hell, she usually doesn't ever let me take pictures unless someone is in them with her!
